“Very Relaxing”

We really enjoyed it. Just the break we needed. The hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

The hotel was nice but the room I was in was not in the main hotel. It was a little aged and didn't have the nice view the other rooms did. Great location and nice bar & restraunt. The golf course is far away from hotel but a great course!

“Nice Visit”

While the weather on our vacation left a lot to be desired, we really enjoyed the hotel. The staff was very hospitable. Our oceanfront queen room overlooked the pool and was very nicely decorated and very comfortable.

“Good experience but too expensive”

Rooms and bathrooms good quality. Not good access to the beach. Not allowed to bring your own cooler on the pool deck.

“I would go back.”

PROS: I liked the location of the resort! The villas were comfy and laid back. Just right for a relaxing weekend. The original hotel is on the Historical Hotel registry! That was cool! Sunday Brunch was FAB! CONS: We couldn't access the beach when the tide was up. However, I would go back again!

“Decent but wouldn't recommend.”

The breakfast was disgusting and we still had to pay for it. The indoor pool and hot tub is right next to the check in. Not appealing! The Island is amazing I will probably pick Ocean Lodge for my next visit. The King and Prince is actually outdated. Reminds you of the Titanic actually. Old Victorian style. The red chase lounges and carpet are filthy. But if you like that historic feel then you'll love this resort. Nothing about it feels like a resort. Either way when you visit St. Simon do the horseback riding at 3 Oaks! So much fun. :)

“Don't open the drapes!”

The hotel was big and beautiful but empty. We got a good rate from Expedia and were booked in a room with a view of the roof machinery. I understand I paid for a standard room but since the hotel was empty, I thought they might have given us a room with any other view!
