Brussels Marriott Hotel great location and hotel

Pros: Great attentive staff. Modern hotel and good rooms.
Cons: Wi-Fi was a chargeable extra. With so much free Wi-Fi available these days perhaps the rate should be reduced, or provide free throughout the hotel.
Location: Hotel was the perfect location for our visit to the Christmas markets, shopping arcades, and restaurants.
The hotel is right in the heart of the city, perfect for the Christmas markets. Staff were very helpful and made our stay very comfortable.

Pros: Location, location
Cons: Sound proof rooms
Location: Close to the Grand Plaza, St Catherine's, Royal Galleries.
Fast check in to our room then straight out to the Christmas markets which are so close. Surrounded by lots to see and do, with good restaurants on the doorstep. Ask for a quiet room, we were kept awake with noise from traffic and people on the street.

Pros: La ubicación
Cons: El desayuno, que es muy mediocre y en una dependencia donde tan sólo hay 6 mesas.
El hotel es muy agradable, con habitaciones grandes y confortables. La ubicación es estupenda, a pocos metros de la Grand Place. Además tiene el metro en la puerta con lo que las comunicaciones son inmejorables.

Au 5ème étage, ma chambre donnant sur une vaste place agrémentée d'un pub et de plusieurs lieux nocturnes, et ne bénéficiant pas de fenêtres insonorisées j'ai du attendre 5 heures du matin pour m'endormir ... Klaxons éclats de voix et cris étaient omniprésents ... Vraiment insupportable ! On ne m'y reprendra plus !

Wij hebben veel overlast gehad van een bruiloft die gevierd werd in het hotel. Vooral last van gehad in de bar (herrie van de band). Gedurende de nacht extreem veel lawaai van buiten. Sirenes, auto alarmen, geschreeuw op straat. De ramen waren gesloten en nog leek het of je op straat sliep. Personeel in het hotel was vriendelijk en ontbijt was goed. Ik zou volgende keer zeker een ander hotel kiezen met een iets rustigere ligging.

Nice hotel, but beware of City Tax !

Pros: Good location, clean
The hotel itself is in a good location. However on checkout we were given a bill for 2 nights "city tax", my paperwork from Expedia said that this has already been taken within the price I paid, but the Hotel were having none of it and made me pay. I am yet to sort this out with Expedia, but I dont hold out much hope! Just beware of this if visiting Belgium.
