Comfortable clean hotel in central Brussels

Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Many things: - utilitarian room furnishings - lobby lounge and reading room - view of courtyard and city roofs from room
Cons: One elevator was not in operation during our visit. The hallways could do with some freshening up.
Location: See above
The convenient location of the hotel - in the Ste-Catherine area of the Lower Town and close to the Grand Place - made it a most convenient starting pint to explore Brussels. For attractions farther afoot, the Metro stop was literally steps from the hotel entrance. The hotel is located on a relatively quiet cobblestone and fountain/pond square, created from the old Brussels fish wharf. The nearby grocery stores and supermarkets made it possible for my wife and myself to fully utilize the efficiency features of the room: fridge, stove, sink etc.

good apartment hotel, convenient downtown location

Posted Oct 25, 2013
Pros: Professional mgmt., separate bedroom, and the kitchenette so that all meals do not have to be eaten out. Good hotel breakfast dining room.
Cons: Size of the Toilet Stall compartment, not for the heavy weight.
Location: The location is within 7 minute walk of the Grand Place, probably 15 minute walk to the Gare Centrale. Metro subway exit at the hotel front door.
Stayed for several nights in the 1 Bedroom Apartment of this 6-storey hotel. The living/dining/kitchen was well equipped with dishes, skillets, small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, hot water maker, drip filter for coffee and mini-dishwasher. The sofa becomes an extra double bed for a 3rd + 4th person. There were 2 closets - one in the bedroom and one in the living/dining room. The floors are a synthetic wood throughout the apt. with tile floor in the Shower/Sink room. Nice Shower/Tub and Sink room plus a separate Toilet compartment. The front desk is well staffed with helpful people, the hallways are carpeted and there is nice photography of Brussels throughout the public areas.

Nicely located close to restaurants. Room could have been cleaner. Vacuum clealy not done. Good enough for a 3-4 day stay for a family. Quiet.

Local Location Close to Tourist Sights

Amazing location on a beautiful street. The rooms were slightly loud so I would definitely recommend requesting a higher floor away from the elevator. Great spot.
