“Great value; great location”

This was the fourth hotel in which we stayed on a 3 week trip to Alsace and Brussels. It was the best value of them all. Breakfast is pricey, but copious.

“Excellent Hotel and Location”

The Eurostars Grand Place was an excellent choice for a quick visit of Brussels. The staff were attentive and helpful while the room and hotel were well maintained and comfortable. The power was controlled by inserting your room key in a slot, which did keep the room from being as cool as we liked, since the air was off whenever we took the key out and left the room. Fortunately, the weather was mild, so this was not really a problem. The breakfast buffet offered a fairly good selection of choices. The hotel is a short walk to one of the Hop-On, Hop-Off bus stops and it is just a little further to the wonderful Grand Place Square with its old, old magnificient buildings. There are many, many places to eat, drink and shop in this area plus there is a great light show at dusk. The hotel is close to everything we needed, even fairly close to the train station. We would definitely return.

“Good choice”

Overall, I really enjoyed my time here. The room was small, but modern, stylish, clean and really fine. Facing the street, on the first floor, it was a bit noisy at times, but really not too bad given that it is on a busy street. The location is fabulous, right across from the old part of the city. The staff were very helpful and kind, the breakfast was excellent. My only complaint was that the internet was expensive, and should have been included in the room price. I do highly recommend this place as a great value.

“super convenient, nice hotel in downtown brussels”

Agree with the four star out of five rating if you're paying the full price compared to all possible hotels in Brussels. But for an off-season discount price for a decent hotel in the city; this hotel is an absolutely superb deal. The outside appearance is deceptive, looks cheap; but do go inside, you'll see that external appearances are deceiving, it's a very nice hotel. First of all, the rooms are lovely, marble in the bathrooms; rooms are small by usa standards but large by French standards. Maybe not quite the "ritz," but still nicer than 99% of other name-brand hotels which command premium prices. Probably about 50 rooms in the hotel, I'm guessing. Location is excellent for people on foot, a short walk from the "grand place" pedestrian only zone, the touristy area; and in the other direction, a longish walk from the midi train station. There is a metro stop nearby, Andreessens. However if you've got a car and plan on driving, my guess would be probably not a good location; street parking looks dodgy and did not see any parking garages nearby. It's not a resort as it has no pool, no spa, or other such amenities; but if you have business or pleasure in downtown Brussels and just want a convenient place to stay this hotel is most highly recommended.

“Good Hotel in Great Location”

Eurostars was a nice hotel. The best thing about it was the location - easy walking distance to Grand Place, the Bourse, etc. By European standards, it was an average size room, but it could have used some TLC. For example, part of the fake hard wood floor was damaged and was actually a hazard because of its location near the entrance of the bathroom. It was somewhat noisy, but that is somewhat to be expected given its location on one of the main streets in Brussels. We would stay there again based on its great location and good price.

“Very good choice”

We stayed at this hotel in June 08. Clean and comfortable, giant bathroom. Nice, green "neighborhood" within walking distance of the Grand Place. Lots of restaurants nearby. We definately recommend it!

“Great location”

Hotel is clean and basic things are provided. It is in great location, near to the Grand Place, Manneken Pis about 5 mins walk, Central Station about 10 minute walk and Royal Palace in about 15 minutes. Bars and restaurants are all around the corner. Staff are friendly and willing to give directions. I will definitely use this hotel again when I get back to Brussels.
