“A Happy Experience”

We had only one night in Brussels and, with this hotel, would have been happy to stay for far longer. Right in the old picturesque city with many restauraunts and places to walk/things to see close by. Staff were most helpful - at all levels - breakfast was generous and high quality - we were treated well. "Floris" is a chain - we initially went tpo the wrong Floris hotel - they too went out of their way to help and arrange for transportaion to the correct location. Good value.

“Great Location. Would come back and stay here again”

The hotel was only two blocks from the main town square. The hotel staff were very helpful with information on things to do and places to eat. Th e room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a good size with a beautiful tile floor. The breakfast was included with the room rate and offered a good variety to choose from. All in all a very pleasant experience.

“Fantastic view”

Our room was fairly basic, but clean and newly furnished, and the hotel offers an extremely central location two minutes' walk from the Grand Place. The view from the seventh-floor breakfast room is fantastic. We'd certainly stay there again.

“As good the first time as the second time 2005 & 2009”

My stay the first time was just as great as the second time. The free breakfast is excellent and well worth the stay. Plus the view from the breakfast room is top notch. Bring your camera to breakfast. Watch out for the paté de foie it is addictive. The rooms are pretty big by Brussels standards. Perfect location for the first time visitor to Brussels.

“comfy hotel in the perfect spot”

The location of this hotel is perfect - less than 5 mins walk to the Grand Place, restaurants, and the central train station. Despite it's location, this place is not noisy. The hotel itself is small European size, but quite well maintained. The breakfast room on the 7th floor overlooks the Grand Place and offers a fantastic view. The breakfast itself is quite good. The hotel staff are polite and very helpful. The rooms are small, but comfortable. Just be ware that there is no free WiFi and you have to pay for internet use.

“Hotel Arlequin, Brussels”

The hotel is situated in a rather rundown street but close to the Grand Place. So some qualms on arrival. However once through the doors the standard of the facilites is excellent for a 3* rated hotel. Most rooms have been recently refurbished and are well maintained. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast restaurant was more than adequate. Would recommend it as offering very good value as a tourist hotel in a great location.

“Great hotel just steps from the Grand Place”

Enjoyed our stay, great location just off the Grand Place and walking distance to the sights of Brussels. Triple room was spacious, with a loft, windows, large bathroom with a tub, comfortable beds. Helpful at reception, gave us directions to sights and restaurants. Great breakfast with breads, espresso and cappucinno machine, eggs, bacon, cereals, yogurt, juice and spectacular views from the 7th floor across Brussels. Would definitely recommend and stay again, good value.

“Will definitely stay again...”

This hotel is good value for the money I paid. The room was clean, comfortable and met my needs -I was travelling alone: for 2 people it's size might be a little cozy. But in my experience with European hotels of this class/price range, that is generally the case. The buffet breakfast included with the room allowed me to fill up nicely and have enough energy for serious touring and not need lunch till 2 p.m. It's best attraction is it's location - just around the corner from Grand Place and very easy walking distances to lots of things to see. There are another 2 Floris hotels nearby, but both a little pricier. Don't be put off by the look of the street it's on - as a single female traveller, I never worried about walking along that street even late at night. Try to get a room on a higher floor - it's quieter and your view is much better. I asked for a higher floor at check in and was told I'd have to wait a bit longer for that - I did wait another 30 minutes but got a room on the 6th floor. Finally, because of the hotel's closeness to the Central Station, I was able to take the train to and from the airport (for about E$8 return)and was able to pull my luggage along the cobble-stone streets.

“One nice hotel room”

We had a very nice experience at this location. Able to walk the the Grand Place within a few minutes Personnel were helpful with directions too. The only negative is they provide no wash cloths (flannels). Apparently this is typical in Europe because there were none in England either.
