Decent budget hotelPosted Nov 25, 2013
Cons: Room would benefit from a small fridge and safe.
Location: Near Botanique metro and gardens, Botanique is also a good concert venue.
I use hotels as a room and bed when on a city break so tend to go for the more reasonably priced ones. With that in mind this is a perfectly good hotel. It's a little out of the centre but is a five to ten minute walk from Botanique metro so you can quickly access the city sights. The room was a bit run down but perfectly clean. The room would benefit from a small fridge and safe which I have become accustomed to finding in even the budget range hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful when approached. Never tried the breakfast but there is a nice bar/bistro located between the two accomodation blocks of the hotel. So for me this hotel ticked the boxes as a nice base to explore Brussels from.

Extremely disgusting with terrible servicePosted Sep 24, 2013
Location: Location isn't too good.
This place was absolutely disgusting. Mold in the bathroom, everything leaked in the bathroom, the floors were terrible and falling apart. I felt so uncomfortable staying here and I stayed in a lot of low budget hotels in Europe. This was by far the worst hotel I stayed in. I ran out of here after I woke up and found a different hotel. I highly recommend you don't risk it with this place.

Nice hotel for a one night crushPosted Jun 3, 2013
Pros: the breakfast was superb!
Cons: not really clean hotel overall and the elevator is tiny
Location: the location is not far from coach stand and from old town, a lot of places to eat out around!
The receptionist guy was really nice, gave us the free map of the city and some advice on where to go. Out room wasn't really big, but for the price paid it was really good! We had our own bathroom and toilet in our room, also we had a tv with few a few English channels! The breakfast wasn't included in the price - but we paid separately for it, only cost us 6 euro per person and it was lovely! Overall it is a nice hotel for the price you pay!

clean and comfortable, perfect for a long weekend.Posted Jan 22, 2013
Pros: Good location
Location: Withing walking distance to main attractions but really good public transport available for anyone who doesn't fancie a walk.
Nice simple hotel, maybe a bit dated in decor but perfectly clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly, provided a map of the area and suggested goodways to get about. Bedding was clean and made each day, clean towels provided each day. Weather outside was snowing and freezing but the heating had been turned on in our room so it was nice and cosy when we got back in the evening. Very good overall for the price :)

Great hotel for the familyPosted Dec 29, 2012
Pros: Accessibility was the best thing for me.
Location: Great location with an old church literally a stone throw away for the tourists to get them started.
The experience was a great one starting from helpful staff who spoke both english and french to a satisfactory stay for the family.

Best hotel in Brussels for it's pricePosted Nov 7, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel is just 10 mins walk from Brussels Nord train station walkable distance to st marie's chappel, city Center, grand palace etc. There are small stores, eateries and places to have a drink in the very near vicinity. The hotel is clean and the staff is co-operative. The rooms are compact but well designed to take care of all basic needs. No tea coffee maker in the room and the when I filled the tub with hot water there was some dirt that could be seen in the water. The lady at the hotel said it's from the boiler. Besides for that the hotel was totally worth the cost.
