“Great service, nice location, so-so neighborhood”

My friend and I stayed here for the weekend and we had a very nice experience! The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. From the beds to the breakfast in the morning- it was all great! The location seems far from the center of town, but it is right near a bus stop, and public transportation is VERY easy. We had no problem with the location in terms of its proximity to downtown. But we did feel a little uncomfortable about the neighborhood the hotel was in. It was very dirty and lots of people hang outside of their doors at night. Sometimes we felt nervous walking back from the bus stop at night. So we took a cab back if we were getting in past 11 and that was fine. Overall, great hotel for a great price!

Had a great stay here. The staff are unbelievably helpful. In walking distance to the international train station. Breakfast was good.

“excellent staff, went out of their way to help us”

It was a bit out of Brussels centre though walkable but it was ideally located for the purpose of our trip. The staff were excellent had went out of their way to sort out problems for us, we only ever had to ask.

“Hotel was nice but..”

For value for money the hotel de fierlant was very good. We asked on arrival where to get certain things we needed. The receptionist spoke perfect english, directed us to the bus stop and told us which bus and how much. Beakfast was nice, fresh fruitr, cheese, meat, cereal, bakery goods, tea, coffee etc. the room was very clean. Internet access via wi-fi was available but the signal in our room was terrible. You can take your lap top to the lobby lounge though. People seemed to do this quite a lot. There was also a fridge in the room to keep water etc.

“A wonderful place to stay”

We were impressed with the high quality of service that was provided by the hotel staff and also with their willingness to help. Cosy and friendly atmosphere of this hotel made our trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend the hotel to our friends and relatieves if they decide to visit Brussels.

“Good for Business trips”

After reading a lot of negative reviews I'd have to say, other than location which isn't great, but not THAT bad this hotel was absolutely fine. It has free wireless, 24 hours reception, really helpfull staff and couldn't fault it. Price was very much value for money. I wouldn't suggest you go there for a romantic weekend as that would not be the trade it caters for but as a night or two stop over for someone who is not planning on spening hugh amounts of time in the hotel, this palce is perfect.

“Nearest Hotel for Forest National Theatre”

This Hotel was comfortable and clean with good continental breakfast. Staff were helpful and Knowledgable. Enjoyable stay.

Room was comfy and clean, staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a residential area, so there weren't a lot of restaurants or shops close by, but it's very close to bus/train/tram links where a short journey takes you into livlier districts. Would definately recommend it as a base from which to explore Brussels.

this a 3*** hotel with a excellent breakfast, a helpful and happy staff, a clean room with clean bed linens and bath towers. As a single traveller hotels always give me the worst room even when I pay a double room, this time was not the case, the room was very good. The breakfasts was good for a 3 *** Hotel with foods you are expecting. The hotel was clean, very quite, organised. They offer tea and coffee facilities and the room . The Hotel is located in a residential area but I felt very safe going out and coming back late night. However little fair from the centre but with very good link with bus and tram to the Gare du Midi Station. Bus 49 and 50 goes to the station, tram 32 goes straight to the De Brouckere station which in central Brussels near everything. Tram 97 goes to the centre main attraction. If you want a clean hotel with a clean room, nice shower, nice breakfast, helpful staff to sleep to rest to enjoy Brussels with a nice and fair price that is the Hotel for you. I will be back!!!!!!
