Good base to explore Brussels

Would definitely stay again. Easy walk from Gare du Midi where Charleroi airport bus arrives and departs. Can also walk into city centre or around St. Gilles easily from the hotel - Metro stations close by if you prefer. Room was comfortable and quiet. Standard continental breakfast.

Pros: location cleanliness and night staff and 24hr BAR
Cons: Day Staff
Location: brill for everything sight seeing, pubs, restaurants, red light
Hotel was clean great location bit of noise at weekend with stag nights but after sunday quite. Don't leave anything empty like a plastic bowl and spoon out on the desk the cleaning staff will bin it. Other than that the hotel was good.

Reasonably priced and pleasant

Pros: Internet was very quick and clean
Cons: Room was a tad cold
Location: 15 minute walk from Brussels Midi, if you get your directions right
Within a 15 minute walk from Brussels Midi Station where the Eurostar connects. Just remember to take the correct exit towards Avenue Fonsny/ Fonsnylaan. A great little pizza/pasta place about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, which offers superb food and portions at a very reasonable price.

Overnighted here to catch a Eurostar train the next day. Convienient for the station, just about 15 min walk. Difficult to find eateries nearby that served anything vegetarian, but otherwise everything was fine. A great buffet breakfast in the morning.

Good hotel - but see review

Fine for a business trip. Quiet location. For hygiene reasons, the pillows really should have washable liners between the pillow and the pillowcase.

Good value place to stay!!

Pros: Friendly staff, decent size room and a fridge!
Cons: Nothing
Location: Good location not too far from town centre.
Really nice hotel, has its own secure parking just across the street for €10. No parking available on rue de fierlant when we visited but some were available on neighbouring streets. Hotel staff spoke good english and were very helpful. Free wifi, i wasnt able to connect from my room but I'm sure staff would of helped if i asked further. There is also a computer and printer downstairs near reception for customer use. Tv, magazines, boardgames and bar in reception. Walk to train station was about 15 mins and to city centre about 35mins. Breakfast in the morning was standard continental breakfast. Overall a very good stay, nice hotel, decent location and would recommend to all.

Reasonably priced hotel in Brussels

Nice, clean, reasonably priced hotel that is in a safe, but not real nice neighborhood. Hotel staff was very friendly and the car parking provided by the hotel is a must as there were no street parking spots available.

Pleasant room, friendly service, superb breakfast

Pros: friendly staff
Cons: longer walk from Gare du Midi than expected
Friendly and helpful staff, personal service, very pleasant room, excellent breakfast. The TV reception wasn't good and the TV had no programme guide, so I had no idea what was on or which channel was which. The bathroom door didn't close as a contraption with hooks over the door stopped it from closing. However, these were only minor inconveniences. The locaction is about 15 minutes walk away from the Gare Midi - Station Zuid. It's best to go up the Rue de Fierlande from the Rue de Belgrade as you avoid the hill. I went along the Av. du Roi (uphill) and then along the Rue deo Montenegro (downhill). The nearest tram stop is along the Av. W. Ceuppens. The area isn't great but nothing to be worried about. I stayed in this hotel on my own for just one night. I've definitely go there again.

Fantastic hotel but nothing near by.

Pros: Cleanliness and staff
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Not much around but one Pizza place fantastic.
All the facilities are very good for a small hotel. Staff are very helpful. The breakfast is self service and it is only cold breakfast. May be the hotel should consider providing hot items such as fried eggs or omlette etc.

good value hotel not far from Midi station
Posted Jan 29, 2012
short business trip - one night stay. pleasant experience overall. OK location - about 15 minutes walk from Midi station, in a quiet neighborhood. rate was reasonable given the high demand for Brussels hotel during my trip (some convention in town). room spacious by European standards and reasonably well-kept. bed was very comfortable. tea kettle and flat-screen tv included, free wireless internet access, and free breakfast buffet too. in my room, i also found a box of chocolates and a coupon for a free drink at the bar. overall, a good value hotel.
