Nice bargain hotel in Bruxelles

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Price and location.
Cons: The hotel will eventually need renovation, but it is just fine for now.
Location: It was in the neighborhood I was looking for.
I had a wonderful stay. I deliberately picked the hotel for its location, but others should be warned that it is not near the metro and will likely require access to a car. The hotel is about a half mile from the Chausee de Louvain and roughly 2-3 miles from the Roodebeek metro station. Parking is free in the street in front from 6:00 at night until 9:00 in the morning. This is a budget hotel, so there are limited frills like fitness centers or a pool. Everything was spotlessly clean if a bit worn. Personally I have no problem with that as I got a cheap rate in return. Contrary to what I was told the free internet did work in my room which was great. Free continental breakfast. All in all, this is exactly what I was expecting. I will be back next time I am in Bruxelles.

I Wouldn't stay here again, it was a nice neighbourhood, but there is no air con, no lift. Had to sleep with windows open and picked up lots of bites

Great value

Posted May 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
I thought this place was a great value. It's a bit out of the way, but managing public transportation is a breeze with Google Maps, and there were stops all around. It was about a 10 minute walk to the closest food place, but once you're there, there were a dozen places to eat. Mini ref in the room was nice to.

Poor location. no wifi at room

Posted Apr 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hello, Poor location "5km" from Brussels city center "17" Euro by taxi !! No wifi at rooms and sometimes weak signal !! The room was ok clean wide with well preserved furniture. The breakfast was ok with coffee, tee, milk for drinks and some cheese, Marmelade and butter ! I think for such a price you can find a Hotel near center which help you save money and time.

Convenient when working for EACEA

Posted Apr 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location of the hotel was pretty convenient as the meeting venue was just about 100m away. Regarding the hotel, service was fantastic, basic accommodation but clean, wifi signal was very poor (however included in the price), breakfast OK.

Excelent overnight location for a business stay

Passing through Brussels and looking for overnight accommodation then Hotel Evergreen is an excellent choice - conveniently positioned close to the motorway network and the Airport.

inexpensive but satisfactory for the price

Relatively inexpensive and conveniently located. Street Arlington nearby. Only let downs were noise carry over through thin walls, very poor hot water flow in the sink although the shower was fine.

simple place to stay

Posted Apr 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was clean but quite small, even for Europe. In addition, there is no elevator (lift) and it was quite hard to carry our suitcases up some narrow stairs and don't expect any help of the hotel attendants. The breakfast was pretty dood and worth getting up for.
