In my room the wardrobe door was broken... Room was so tiny I had almost no space to open my bag. Internet was soooo poor. I was not at all able to make calls using the internet. Breakfast buffet has almost no option for vegetarian people(just bread and butter/Nutella or cereal). No shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

Really Bad the only positive was the Young Guy and Lady who helped with bags and check in. After that I had 2 people knock on my door whilst showering, advising me I am in the wrong room and should leave to reception. Whilst I was naked. This is unacceptable. You give me a room and wrote it on the card 609. You never apologised for your incompetence and lack of respect. And your demands. Really bad. Old and dirty bed sheets. No point to complain as manager thinks he can speak to people with tone and attitude. Bad experience, not recommending.

The Siru is a reasonably priced option very close to the centre of Brussels - the Grand Place is about 15 minutes' walk away. My room was a little warm; the bed was not too uncomfortable, and the lift seems not to run to the top floor, so you have to climb the final flight of stairs (which is no problem). A decent buffet breakfast is included, taken in a shared restaurant with the neighbouring Hotel des Colones (as is the reception).

Inexpensive and ok
The location was very convenient for my business trip. It’s an old hotel with small rooms and somewhat run down but it’s cheap! Very good breakfast included. It can be noisy and it’s in a part of town that is a bit sketchy. Staff is friendly.

The hotel is well located close to the North train station and the metro. Grote Markt can be easily walked to. There were many restaurants and shopping stores nearby. The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful. Our room was a bit dated and the carpet was badly stained/soiled. I didn't want to walk on it barefooted.

The hotel was very reasonably priced and conveniently located. The staff was very helpful. The hotel just needs some renovations to liven it up a little (carpets, paint, etc.). Other that than, it is good value for money.

There was nothing to like about this hotel except the location. The room condition was disaster, floors very dirty, the fridge wasnt working and the toilet sink was plugged and wasnt draining water. Absolutely a garbage place.

If you want somewhere to wind down for the night, this is not the place. The wifi is crappy because too many people are connected to it, so if you wanted to go on your phone before bed you won’t be able to. While you’re laying in bed without internet, you’ll also not be able to sleep. This hotel shares a wall with a lounge that is open till 5AM, so you’ll be hearing music all night. Noise also travels super easily as the walls are paper thin. After a sleepless night, you won’t be able to even enjoy your shower because there is no hot water - it’s like warm at best. When letting the staff know about our complaints they did not care or even say sorry. Don’t waste your money on this place. It’s not worth the savings.

Best value for money - no question
i have stayed in many hotels in Brussels over time. This is my favorite. Pros: Top 4: Location! By Rogier metro station. Lots of store, restaurant and close to cinema and safe area- Hot water come in 3 seconds,and very thick curtain to sleep in really clean. Other Pros: Breakfast is the only one i found worth taking (bit pricey but its extensive) - Got very good price via Hotels site. Body soap, hair dryer, plenty of towels, large miror, large closet, mini fridge, & a kettle. room is not huge but size is ok. . A heater in room and in bathroom. CONS: Elevator is small. 3 max (2 w luggage), & a bit slow. I usually take stair down unless wit h bags.
