Close to Public TransportationPosted Aug 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was a ten block walk from the Central area for half the price, well worth the walk. The intercity rail was just around the corner and in between all the eateries. The staff was very helpful when we needed to print out new rail passes as well.

Enjoyable stayPosted Aug 5, 2013
A great location, compact rooms but fine for a short stay and a very reasonable price

Brussels City Center StayPosted Aug 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Convenient, comfortable and good value hotel near to main Brussels attractions. You get hit for city tax (4 euro/night) but apart from that is a good choice.

Great location but small rooms and sad breakfastPosted Jul 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Ibis was fine, if you want to save a little and be a little removed from the tourists but close enough to walk to most sights in Brussels or take a short one or two stop metro ride. Had a sad breakfast buffet.

Ibis quality, excellent locationPosted Jul 18, 2013
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Location: Excellent! St Catherine's Square and streets around it are perfect for wandering.
I stayed for 4 nights. My room, which was extremely comfortable, overlooked an inner courtyard. This didn't bother me as I wasn't planning to spend my time in Brussels sitting in the hotel and looking out of the window. St Catherine's Square is a great location, packed with restaurants specialising in seafood, close to 3 metro stations, and an easy walk to the Grand Place and beyond. My booking didn't include breakfast, but there are many cafes nearby.

Overall a great hotel and roomPosted Jun 26, 2013
Pros: clean, comfortable
Cons: small room
Location: Great location: two blocks from metro and approx. three from the Grand Place, in area with supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants, trendy bars, etc.
I stayed at this Ibis for 2 nights in a double bed room for a quick visit. The room was small (would be tight for a couple) but had everything I needed: big bed, clean, tv with some English channels, good shower, free wifi throughout my stay. The only things I didn't like were the small room and the staff was ok but I didn't feel particularly welcome. Btw, didn't use any other facilities of the hotel...

Great location, Good PricePosted Jun 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were happy to stay here. We liked looking out window at the church. The room was clean and comfortable, though a bit small. The location is close enough to the Grande Place. The hotel gave good value. I would definitely stay there again.

You Get What You Pay For...Posted Jun 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Having stayed at this hotel a number of times I pretty much knew what to expect. The rooms are standard affairs looking a bit dated with cramped bathrooms. The linen has seen better days with towels on the thin side. Location wise the Ibis Ste Catherine is well placed, five minutes or so from the Grand Place, near to the De Brouckere Metro/Tram station which by tram is just 4 stops from Gare du Midi and the Eurostar terminal. Getting a drink in the hotel bar is usually somewhat hit or miss and this time it was definitely the latter. I waited half an hour to get a drink as no one seemed to be around and when I did ask at reception nobody appeared until I had asked again! The hotel has the benefit of being a relatively cheap 3 Star hotel although paying a bit extra and staying at the Novotel next door would be a better experience.
