Convenient if you have a morning flight.Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: It was good value for the money.
Cons: The shuttle needs to run all day.
Location: The location is near a bus station that goes into the center of downtown, which was nice. Bus is 2 euros each.
The hotel was fine. The room was clean and the front desk was nice. But it is not as convenient as it claims to be. The airport shuttle does not run for most of the day, so if you need the shuttle to or from the airport between 10am and 5 pm, you are out of luck, and when you call they don't care. You have to take a bus.

Cheap, convenient for airportPosted Jun 16, 2014
Clean simple room on business estate. Actually quite quiet. Free WiFi is a boon. I'd have given them 5 out of 5 if the wifi hadn't dropped out about 9pm.

Total disasterPosted Jun 14, 2014
I was totally shocked!!! If it wasn't after midnight when I arrived I would not have stayed one hour. The cleanness is poor, sheets and towels are teared and warn out, the cover and pillows smells terrible!! And toilet is too small and smells bad! Worst hotel I have seen in my life!

A complete disappointmentPosted Jun 14, 2014
Location: The location is horrible in the middle of nowhere, no transportation anywhere and the airport shuttle is a lie
The shuttle does not operate from 10am til 5pm horrible service not to be able to be picked up when all the flights arrive. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere with no access to anything, no restaurants nothing in the area, if brave enough to stay there make sure you buy food at the airport supermarket. The breakfast looks like communist era cafeteria. Horrible quality, nothing to do with the cheap Ibis brand that I stayed before. The room is like a capsule no room for anything. There are much better hotels in the area for the price that I paid for this hotel. Horrible experience I won't recommend it not even to my worst enemy.

Pros: Friendly reception.
Cons: Extended hours of the shuttle bus (it stopped at 22h00).
Location: It's near the airport, although not directly at the airport (hence the shuttle bus, taxi costed me $18). "Things to do near by" thus a bit irrelevant.
It wasn't until arrival that I realized what Ibis Budget means compared to plain and proper Ibis. So "budget" it was. A spartan room, space-efficient. It is adequate in getting us a night sleep and a shower in the morning, but no luxury or comfort of any sort. The price was fair accordingly. Little value, but good value for money.

quick overnight stay at Zaventem Airport BrusselsPosted Apr 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
If you have never stayed at an Ibis Budget hotel you really should just for the interesting way the rooms are decorated, the bunk beds, the lights in the shower and the breakfast spred....nothing bad at all to say about this budget accomodation

This hotel is a good place to stay economically near the Brussels airport. Transportation to the airport is good, the rooms are basic, but clean and reasonably comfortable. It is not intended to be a tourist hotel for the city, so do not expect it to be, but as a way station for the traveler, it is very good, especially for English speakers. If I ever return to Brussels, I would not hesitate to spend a night here awaiting flights.
