Cheap and convenientPosted Nov 27, 2013
Pros: Convenient to the airport, clean, comfortable and inexpensive.
Cons: Limited times that the free airport shuttle runs. Difficult to find the shuttle location.
Location: It is a place for an overnight stay. A ten minute walk puts you at one of the train stations that can take you into Brussels if that is what you want
Had an unexpected overnight stagy in Brussels and needed a hotel by the airport. Looked online and found Ibis Budget at a very reasonable price. Suitable for overnight, but probably not for a multiple day stay. Room was very compact - but with everything that you need. Good, free, in-room internet a big plus.

Airport ConveniencePosted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: The room was a great design and classy with a great en suite shower room and toilet. Very comfy bed with bunk beds above for family or friends.
Cons: Communication between hotel and Expedia and telephone access. Shuttle available until last flights inthe evening.
Location: Convenient to airport.
We arrived at Brussels airport and looked for the hotel shuttle at 10 30 pm No sign of it. A notice said that the last Ibis shuttle left at 11.00 PM. But the Holiday Inn shuttle driver told us that the Ibis shuttle final run was at 10 PM. He offered to take us part way. we still had to walk with luggage about 2 kilometers from the Holiday Inn. We had told Expedia we needed a shuttle and listed our flight arrival time. The manager claimed that he was never given this information. I had tried phoning ahead to alert the hotel but there was no way to get through to the desk or to leave a message. The manager also claimed he did not know about the incorrect sign at the airport but would have it changed. Why did Expedia not forward the info about our arrival time so we could make othe plans? We were happy with our room and the breakfast. Good value for a layover.

Basic good value hotel near the airportPosted Sep 26, 2013
Pros: Close to the airport, free shuttle bus, inexpensive.
Cons: Thicker mattresses and extra pillows in the room would be nice. A request to reception got the extra pillows with no problem.
Location: A kilometre or two from the Airport, among a group of similar hotels in what seemed to be a business estate. Nothing much to do nearby.
Close to Brussels Zavantem airport, free shuttle to and from the hotel. Catch the shuttle bus on Level 0 at the airport. Basic room, but clean - ideal for a one night stay.

Fine for overnightPosted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel itself is perfect for an overnight stay while en route to your final destination. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. There is a bar and restaurant in the non-Budget Ibis located next door. The bar is quite expensive, however, with a single beer at double the price you will pay nearly anyplace else in Belgium. Be aware also that the hotel is quite a distance from the train station and the walk is all uphill. The distance is probably fine if you are travelling with a single overnight bag, but it is not good if you have a bigger bag or several items.

Basic!Posted Sep 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
I have to say the hotel itself really was very basic, maybe a little more than I expected. Beds were uncomfortable and the hotel was miles away from anything! The staff were friendly but other than that nothing more than you would expect from a one star hotel anyway.

Would like to have a kettle in the room and wake up call service.
