Apartment as expected, staff great, restaurant notPosted Oct 27, 2013
The hotel staff were excellent, very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The apartment was as expected, and comfortable for 3 people. Great location - just round the corner from the European parliament and about a 15 minute walk to the centre. Little niggles stopped this being an excellent rating - we booked for 3 people and had to phone to get bedding for the 3rd. Also the restaurant was disappointing, with limited menu (with items from it not available), hair in one of our dinners, and several mistakes with orders. Overall though we were very pleased with the hotel.

Lovely place to stay very convenient for BrusselsPosted Aug 3, 2013
The staff were exceptional! They really went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We had access to the club lounge in the Renaissance hotel and enjoyed high quality drinks and nibbles, computer access and newspapers every evening. The rooms were not cleaned daily but housekeeping was always available when needed. Highly recommended hotel, certainly worthy of its 4 star rating.

Its fine but there is room for improvementPosted Jun 17, 2013
Pros: Cots available
Cons: Not always easy to get service
Location: Close to eu parlament and other attractions.
The hotel is next door to the Parlament and its easy to access all the sights. The service was fine when you get hold of someone but on few occassions the calls were not answered at all and there was nobody available at the concierge desk. The cleaning is 25 euros if you stay less than 4 nights and the supplies of shampoos, soaps and teas are not included in this cleaning charge. We did not have any serious problems, and appreciated the availability of the cot and a small kitchen to prepare baby meals. But generally its below average Marriott standard.

Good place!Posted May 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice place to stay. They upgrade my room to a 2 room apartment. However it will be even better if wifi can be use freely in the room rather than limiting it in the concourse area I also realize that there is coffee machines and tea packets in the concourse area. It's really good for people to mix around there. However, the coffee and tea are not being replenish on time and the rubbish bin are always full with rubbish. Hope they can improve on this. Thanks

The Hotel was great, we had read reviews where people had mentioned that it was run down but it was immaculate! If I were to go to Brussels again I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Good Location - walking distance to main sightsPosted Nov 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Apartment room is perfect as we're a family of 3. My son liked the fact that he had his own space (and TV). It's very well maintained and clean. My only small criticism is that when I went Swimming for the first time, there were no towels available so I asked the SPA reception. The staff explained that they are not part of the Hotel although guests can use it. He (politely) refused to give me one of theirs as it's for the use of their own Members only. He did call Housekeeping on my behalf, but was warned that it will be a long wait so I then had to walk all the way back to my room to pick some up (my room is in a separate building!).

Convenient but becoming a little shabbyPosted Oct 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
Not everything is working well in the Marriot Apartments and the hotel is becoming a little too shabby as for the price of an apartment.

Highly recommended apartmentsPosted Sep 27, 2012 on Hotels.com
I was in Brussels for a weekend with two friends and we booked a 1-bed apartment here. The apartment was spacious, spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed for a 3-night stay. Apartment had 1 bathroom andn a separate toilet which was really handy and made both rooms en-suite. Breakfast at the hotel (which is next door) was included, and the choice was good and varied. We used the hotel swimming pool and sauna which was functional, clean and well-maintained and with friendly staff. The area was great for sight-seeing and for access to central Brussels. We used the bus and also walked to the centre one day as there is lots to see on the way and it only took about half an hour at a leisurely pace. The Place de Luxemburg is one minutes walk from the hotel and is a great spot for people watching as the European Parliament Buildings are situated there. Good, reasonably priced restaurants also and we had great pizza in Ketje. The only word of warning I would have is that our cab (which we had booked from reception the night before) didn't turn up and we had to run down to the Place du Luxembourg and get a cab from the rank. Our journey was possibly considered too short, as cabs were turning up to do airport runs. Still didn't spoil our overall enjoyment of the weekend in Brussels and I would definitely recommend Marriott Executive Apartments and certainly stay there again when in Brussels.
