The hotel and staff were great but location was not the best. I would of preferred to stay at Novotel in grand place.

First of all, the hotel room was very nice. No restaurant was a disappointment, but overall a very nice stay.

Easy access to the city

Posted Oct 10, 2014
A few short minutes from Station Midi/Zuidstation. Metro and trams, even taxis all at the station so the city awaits.

Nice clean modern hotel opposite BrusselsMidi

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Very clean, nice staff, good breakfast. Convenient for Eurostar and the Metro.
Cons: Can't think of anything, except sound proofing for rooms at the front.
Location: Only had to cross the road to use station and metro. Didn't use any of the local bars or cafes. Small Del Haise supermarket close by.
Stayed here for three nights last week. We asked to move rooms, as our first room (806) was at the front of the hotel and was very noisy with train noise and announcements from the station. The support for the shower head was broken, so it wasn't possible to have a proper shower, the bathroom was smelly and the bathroom bin was crammed with rubbish from the previous guest(s). We were moved to a room at the back which was much better and the staff didn't have any problem arranging this. Breakfast was good, if expensive - 16 euros -which is probably the going rate for Brussels.

Truth about Novotel Midi

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Near train station and transport. Modern looking hotel. Great windows keeps all sound out.
Cons: Room temperature can be a cooler without using air conditioning.
Location: Area where hotel is situated is poorly lit at night, seems dodgy.
Not bad hotel very near station around 70 meters away. At night the area can be very dodgy.

Very nice hotel, great location

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Location and room size
Cons: Breakfast was good, but a bit tasteless... but in general, was a fantastic experience
Location: Next to Gare de Midi, so fantastically connected to many points in Brussels and easy to go to Bruges from there.
Great hotel, just a few steps of the Gare de Midi, which made it really convenient to travel along Belgium. Staff is friendly and nice. Internet was included, and the room was pretty big. Really liked it.

Nice hotel, very clean and the staff are friendly.

Stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of September. Very good location as the taxi/coach from the airport stopped just round the corner from the hotel. Located just next to the train station and 15 minute walk to the main square! All in all a lovely stay.
