“excellent for large group”
We had six people for a week in Brussels and this was the perfect place to stay. a very central locatation. It is an apartment and not a hotel so you will not have some of the services you would in a hotel, but for an extended stay, this is the way to go.
“Great stay”
Stayed in the three bedroom apartment. We had three adults and three kids and the apartment had plenty of room for all of us (living room, dinning room, kitchen, two bedrooms downstairs, one upstairs). Would definitely stay there again.
“Excellent Choice”
If you're planning to feel like home in Brussels this is the place to be, nicely equipped (don't expect many services if you're staying few days). Few steps away from TRAM station. Five minutes away from main city attractions.
“Convenience of own kitchen and laundry”
The location was great, right off of Avenue Louise. There was a small market at the end of the block and a great little restaurant directly across from the market. The combination washer/dryer was a little tricky, but the instructions were provided.
“Best Deal in Brussels, Belgium”
The Residence Florence is actually an apartment and it was great for my wife and three adult boys. We were traveling throughout Europe and decided to stay in Brussels for two nights. By far this was the best accomidation we had the entire trip. To accomidate 5 of us in one apartment proved to be the best investiment. We had all of the required accomidations including a kitchen and laundry area in the apartment.
“Excellent quarters - but really a long stay hotel”
The residence florence is affiliated with the Stephanie Hotel, so when you check in, you need to go to the hotel to get your key. The place was incredible - spacious, clean, and huge! It was 2-bedrooms, a dining room, living room, kitchen, and 1.5 baths with dishwasher and w/d... really a great apartment. Unfortunately, you don't get room service, so if you run out of TP, they expect you to either buy your own, or you have to go ask at the hotel desk... They also don't replace your towels or provide any kind of toiletries, so if you are looking for service, this may not be the place, but if you are looking for lots of space in a good location, it's a deal!
“Would definitely recommend”
They fail to tell you that you have to check in at a different location but, it was only a block and a half away. The apartment was very surprising. It's well kept and fully equipped with utensil, pots and pans, fridge, stove, etc.. What it didn't have were sponges and dishwashing liquid. Whatever you may be missing can be bought at a supermarket nearby (5-10 min walk). The hotel/ apartment was very organized, they even provided restaurants categorized by cuisine, prices, and locations. Overall, my stay was relaxing pleasant and recommended.
“Good but bring your own soap”
This is a very elegent, comfortable building. I was pleased with it, especially considering the price. One thing that irked me was that they didn't have any soap in the apartment! I had to go buy some. Also, the neighbor's toilet kept me awake one night - it kept filling and draining all night. Grrr...!
“Dont arrive in the pouring rain!”
The apartment itself was excellent - spacious and in good condition - once we were in there! We arrived in the pouring rain, only to find after the taxi had dropped us off, that we had to walk down the road to a nearby hotel to check in. It was not far unless you have a small child, three suitcases and no umbrellas. Then the hotel said we could not check in until 4 pm, three hours later. I checked ourpaperwork and it did not say anything about this anywhere. In the event it was almost 4.30 pm before the keys to the partment were delivered to the hotel. The hotel were kind enough to lend us an umbrella but given that they were part of the same Thon hotel chain, were not very helpful or welcoming. They obviously did not want us hanging around their lobby with a small child. I travel often and could tell that the desk staff found us to be a nuisance even though we went off for lunch in the rain and didn't return until 3.45 pm. After we finally checked in we had to walk back to the apartment down the road so we felt pretty miserable when we finally did arrive. That being said the apartment itself was lovely!
