Great Location

Posted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: Location and nice staff.
Cons: The noise late at night in front of the hotel.
We stayed 4 nights and were satisfied. The hotel has a great location, about 10 minutes easy walk to the touristic area in one direction and another 10 minutes walk to the Midi Train Station in the other direction. There are plenty of fast food eateries around, as well as mini-markets. There is a Two Michelin restaurant right next to the hotel, as well as a good eatery across the street. The rooms overlooking the street tend to be a bit noisy at night. The internet works great, including on the third floor. It looks like the management fixed the internet problem, that I noticed in the comments of past guest. Also, the hotel staff was great. We asked the staff why the hotel is called Pillows and they had no idea !!! Maybe the management will tell us the secret. We would come here again.

Great staff

Nice hotel few blocks away from all the action also close to the train station, but what makes this hotel great is the staff. They were all super helpful and went way out of their way to help me find my luggage that got lost and ended up in Amsterdam.

Brussels

This was a nice hotel. Small lobby bar with nice staff. Easy to walk to all areas. Felt very safe. Loved Brussels and would go again and stay at this hotel. One thing is the WIFI did not stay connected in the rooms so we went to the lobby to work.

Nicely redone old hotel.

Pros: Location, value, the staff.
Cons: Hire a new IT person of service.
Location: Easy access to transportation all over, very close to the main Midi station (two subway stops). Easy walking distance to the palace area and all the g
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to the sights and transportation although a tad sketchy in the direction of Midi Station. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. WiFi for us was a big problem but I hope that is not a regular problem for them, when it finally worked on our floor all was well (took over a day to fix).

Hotel close to grand place, Mannekin Pis

Lovely hotel. The bed was exquisite! Our only complaint was that the room constantly seemed too warm, even though we had a thermostat in room. Do not pay for the breakfast, it was pretty much terrible.

Pros: Huge bed, very quiet room at night, large shower, modern decor.
Cons: Not much. Someone had messed with the keys on the hotel computer in the lobby so we had difficulty printing our boarding passes, but that's about it.
Location: The hotel is quite central, 10-15 minutes walk from the main train stations, the Grande Place, the nightlife and shopping in the centre of town.
This hotel was completely rebuilt a few years ago, although the exterior still looks like a period building. Its now a very stylish boutique hotel with new everything, including aircon and furniture. Very quiet, it's not far from the centre, and the bed we had was huge and very comfortable. We booked the room only, so we went out for breakfast and can't comment on food or drink, but otherwise this was a real find and we would highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel in great location

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: This was only a very minor thing, but the toilet was in a separate little room than the sink and the shower. It was a bit strange but fine.
Location: Located close to Grand Place and Mannekin Pis, as well as within walking distance of Brussels Midi train station.
We stayed here for two nights. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location, just a short walk to Mannekin Pis and Grand Place. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Our room was quite spacious, especially compared to how small European hotel rooms typically are. All in all, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again on the next visit to Brussels.

Lovely hotel in a very covenient location

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: The hotel is very pleasant with really comnfortable beds. Despite having a room overlooking the square we did not hear any traffic noise
Cons: We did not manage to get WiFi connection in our bedroom on the 4th floor but it was fine in reception.
We stayed at the hotel for two nights over a bank holiday and had a wonderful time in Brusels. The location was perfect, close to the main tourist sites but far enough away to ensure that it was quiter and away form the crowds and noise. We went to the Grand Prix at Spa on the Sunday and travelled there from the Midi station so proximity to this was important

Nice central hotel

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Location was great and staff were helpful. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the fountain. Plenty of daylight during the day.
Cons: Complimentary tea and coffee facilities.
Location: The location was extremely central with the town square just a 15/20minutes walk away. Lots of nearby supermarkets to buy snacks and drinks.
The hotel was centrally located and the staff were helpful. We travelled as a couple and requested to be in high level room with a view -we were given a room on level 3 at the corner of the building. It was perfect -the room has plenty of daylight streaming through. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable and the room was a decent-sized. The only negative comment I have was that the towel rails in the bathroom were a bit loose and the hotel does not offer complimentary tea/coffee facilities. Manekin pis and town square is only a 15/20min walk from the hotel.
