Very nice hotel in great locationPosted Jul 24, 2015
Pillows is a wonderful hotel in center of town close to Grand place and walking distance to metro and railroad. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice room with fridge and safe. Very clean. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.

Clean hotel, central locationPosted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: See what was mentioned above.
Cons: Built in breakfast with stay, but then again its Brussels, you have to go get waffles.
Location: Near train station which is great for coming and going, especially since we took the train out to Amsterdam. Very close to all the tourist locations.
Hotel is placed nicely on a square with multiple cafe options and is within short walking distance of Grand Place, Mannekin Pis, and excellent restaurants off the alleys surrounding the Grand Place. Hotel was very clean, room was a comfortable size, even for Americans. Mini-fridge was stocked with drinks, both alcohol and non; which were complimentary (what hotel actually does that). Would love to come back for a repeat visit in the future.

Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Breakfast tea
Location of hotel is good with easy access to Grand Place/city centre (about a 10 minute walk)Friendly check-in and reception staff whose recommendations for non-touristy restaurant locations was spot-on. Good sized clean room and a comfortable bed. Bathroom (shower and washbasin only, i.e. no bath) and toilet are separate which, whilst unusual for hotels of this standard, is quite convenient. Good quality breakfast but the drinks choice lacks a breakfast tea (all sorts of fancy teas and fruit teas but no standard tea). The hotel seemed quiet for the period of our stay (3 nights from Thursday until Sunday in July) and therefore perhaps lacked a bit of atmosphere.

Set your own alarm!Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Wifi. Clean. Comfortable. A safe available in room. Adequate towels. Good location.
Cons: Shower. Staff who do their job properly.
Location: Super fast to walk to Grand Place where the action is.
The room was clean and comfortable. It was plenty large enough. There is a great large walk in shower with a strong shower head. Unfortunately they forgot to put a bottom lip on the shower floor so the shower completely floods the bathroom floor every time. The wifi works great. The breakfast costs 25 Euros pp if you want it. We didn't. With our Canadian exchange it was way out of our price range and it was just a regular breakfast served on more fancy plates. Our real issue was the night staff fellow. We asked for a morning wake up call for 9 am and a taxi for 945 am. Once we got to the room he called to say the taxi was booked. Good. Luckily I woke up at 920 am with no wake up call. We rushed around. What else does a night clerk have to do all night besides make sure those wake up calls are made? He apologized but no offer of a quick breakfast or room discount, just well, I'm sorry. Plus now you owe the taxes before you leave. We don't recommend this place especially if you are counting on them not to miss plane or train travel!

Whats not to likePosted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: It was all fine
Cons: have had better breakfasts but was perfectly adequate
Location: Perfect location close to city centre (10 mins walk)
Located close to centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy with comfy bed. Located at edge of quiet square with couple of local bars. Breakfast was fine. Just what we were looking for a weekend break. Would go back again if we return to city.

Modern hotel, good for a short stayPosted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Very good location, not far from the station, metro or the centre of town. Rooms were spacious, TV hd lots of channels, beds wee very comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast was fairly limited in range. Air con started leaking while I was there.
Location: Pretty much all the main tourist hotspots in Brussels are within touching distance and there are lots of tansport links equally as near.
Had a very pleasant stay for 4 nights. Only problem was a faulty air conditioning unit in my room which kept leaking and so I had to move rooms. But otherwise the rooms and hotel in general were good and everything worked. Certainly a nice, contemporary style with very pleasant staff.

It was not that good as expectedPosted Jul 10, 2015
Bad experience at check out. staffs attitudes are very unfavorable welcome (not all of the staff). Nice service at the bar. Bad service at Breakfast restaurant. Never heard a good morning or good afternoon from staffs. They don't greet or welcome in Bruxelles?

CharmingPosted Jul 8, 2015
Great to find a hotel that truly is "boutique". Love the decor. Beds very comfortable. A less than perfect shower spray only contributed to it's personality.
