Walked everywhere, Brussel s 2014Posted Jul 28, 2014
Arrived during a heatwave, not to worry I booked this hotel for the pool. Wait, it's closed all week? Murphys law I suppose. I wish they could have noted that was the annual maintenance time because everything else was very satisfying about our stay. Good location, walk to sights dinning, and hundreds of shops. Clean hotel, friendly staff we'd stay here again.

Walking distance to the Plaza was short. Wi-Fi in the lobby was adequate.

A dated hotelPosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Not much I,m afraid.
Cons: All of the above.
Location: A short walk to shops and some really good restaurants (and breakfast places).
Stayed two nights here simply to connect with a colleague as I usually stay in Royal Windsor. This hotel reminded me of an old fashioned American hotel I used to stay at in Cincinnati in the eighties. Very dated, rooms are dark and dingy, tea and coffee making facilities are positioned right next to the toilet... ugh. No fridge. Goodness knows how many emergency vehicle sirens I heard from daybreak to eventually rising at 7am. Not a fan of buffet breakfasts (get it yourself) and especially at the price that it is.

Very enjoyable stayPosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Loved the free wifi in the lobby, and thought the staff was very welcoming and professional.
Cons: The cost of wifi in the room was high, especially since we arrived a little late and were leaving early. Thankfully there was free wifi in the lobby.
Location: Within walking distance of the train station. Didn't see much for dining in the area, and some streets were a bit dodgy later in the day.
We had a great stay at this hotel - clean, quiet, classy. Even the first moments at the front desk were impressive, as the staff welcomed us to the neighbourhood with numerous suggestions about local attractions. Quite pleased with this stay.

City breakPosted Apr 28, 2014
Great location right in the heart of brussels and a shopping street away from the historic centre: grand platz etc. Parking was independent of the hotel and cost 15 euros for 24 hours - a steal! The rooms were great, the view amazing and the beds were the comfiest hotel beds I have ever slept in! Great, comfortable and relaxing stay. Thank you to all the lovely helpfully staff, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. Sherston is sheraton after all!

Good location.Posted Apr 13, 2014
Cons: Customer service training for staff.
Location: Central location.
The front desk clerks need to be customer oriented. They appeared to just do the quantity service and lacks quality.

Nice, but worn inPosted Jan 9, 2014
We stayed here over New Years. It was a nice stay but would not book this hotel again. This hotel was probably amazing in its day, but it is past its prime. Our bathroom ceiling was chipping and there was no fan so the steam as dripping on me from the ceiling. It was yellow droplets! Our daughters got some chocolate on their bed our first night there. When we arrived the next day we saw the room had been cleaned but they didnt take the dirty sheets, just changed them beds. I was disappointed that they saw something dirty and didnt change it. This didnt ruin my stay but made me think what else had they not changed. We picked this hotel because it had a swimming pool for my two children 4 and 7. To my disappointment it was very cold. After 5 min or so you got use to it, but if I did not have children I would not have used it for leisure. Also you have to walk past a liitle pool of water to clean your feet and this was so disgusting I wouldnt let my children use it. There were literally bits floating in it. The changing rooms were very clean and tidy. The food in the restraunt was expensive and not as good as the cost. My recommendation is walk 10 min to the main area and a wonderland of good restraunts awaits you. Overall, my family and I had a good time. The hotel was just OK. Would not recommend to a friend.
