Cons: I can't think of anything
Location: The location was quiet, clean and safe within easy walking distance to the grand place. The park is near and the walk into the centre is lovely
This hotel is beautiful with excellent facilities, wonderfully helpful staff and yummy breakfast. I couldn't believe my luck when I checked in! The location was good, very close to a metro station and in an area I felt safe. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. My room was gorgeous, the bath was amazing and bed extremely comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Brussels. Excellent value for money. I literally can not find fault with it.

Luxurious and centralPosted Dec 6, 2013
We got a suite for around £380 for Friday and Saturday night, for myself, wife and two-year-old child. It had two TVs, a very comfortable double bed and a marble bathroom. Double doors shut off the bedroom to allow my wife and I same space while our child slept. No tea or coffee making facilities, but I got a kettle from room service. Being in a wheelchair is a bit of a hassle, although they offered us a ground floor suite instead. The back entrance has a ramp, which makes it a lot easier than the main entrance. Breakfast was not included, and is expensive, although at weekends you can get vouchers giving you 30% off if you get them the day before. This is definitely worth it, as the breakfast is fabulous. A proper cooked one and a cold spread much better than most hotel buffets I've had. If you order coffee you get that weak and horrible stuff Americans like, but there is a Nespresso machine that gives you the 10-12 espressos I need before I can feel my heart beating. I didn't try the restaurant for dinner, but it looked good, if expensive. One of the other guests said it was "Excellent". The staff were very helpful, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained. We had no complaints.

Location: Chosen for its reputation and proximity to daughter's apartment. Grandchild number seven born as planned during our stay!

I have rated my stay poorly because I was given a fold down bed that was very uncomfortable, breakfast was not included and was a hefty 29 Euros, and local taxes were not included. So booking through Expedia is not as always as cheap as it appears, check what is included. Otherwise its what you expect of a 4* hotel.

In retrospect it was one of the nicest stays in a city hotel in Europe with charming attributes, good breakfast buffet , lovely suite for a good price, and close to inner city tourist sites.

Restaurant closed at the weekend. Otherwise good.Posted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: Decor and cofort were spot on.
Cons: Michelin star restaurant in the hotel is closed at weekends. I personally prefer to be served breakfast rather than use a buffet.
Location: Nice bars, cafes, restaurants, museums. Great architecture - really. Cool antique shops. Chocolate making tours and chocolate shops galore. There are
We went for a weekend to celebrate our 12th anniversary. Nice, comfortable hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. High quality decorative finish. Breakfast is a buffet but it is a good one. Good location for tourists.

Our room was beautiful but that was about it. My dad, paid more for his room but the room was like a dorm room. Apparently it was bc he paid for a "single" and we had a room for "2". I felt bad bc he deserved more than what he paid for. I asked for an upgrade but the man told us that there weren't any. The next night my dad complained that the lights in his room all turned on at the same time and ruined his sleep. The staff said they would address it. They did nothing as the same thing happened again. I asked the staff how they would compensate him. Suddenly they could upgrade. I have to say, Bachia (spelling?) was VERY helpful, kind and generous. She wasn't there the day before unfortunately. Her attitude was completely different than the staff from the previous day. He got a new room, that was it, no complimentary breakfast or anything. The elevator broke on the day we left so we had to carry heavy suitcases down the marble staircase, which made a little noise with the wheels clacking on the hard stone. Suddenly they appeared to help us. The breakfast buffet was 30 Euros which I would never pay. My BF at had the breakfast though only bc he is a weight lifter and can actually eat about 30 Euro's worth : ) The hotel is located in the business section of town which is good if your stay is strictly business, not if you are a tourist. Overall, I was a little concerned about future hotels but thankfully we had nothing but positive experiences after that.

Comfortable stay and good business locationPosted Oct 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was the second time I had stayed at this hotel and each time I have been given one of the lovely older rooms which are slightly quirky. This time my bedroom was up a small staircase on a mezzanine above the bathroom and desk area. Rooms are very quiet, breakfast is excellent as always and the service is very efficient. It's a good 20 minute walk to the Grande Place but a good location for the business centre and near the European Parliament and Palace.

Old fashioned elegancePosted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: Well maintained and clean.
Cons: Very expensive breakfast. At euro 29, it is better to eat at one of the local cafes.
Comfortable and relaxed in an old colonial way. Clean, decent sized rooms with good quality fittings. Not too much noise and not too hot.
