Mixed Bag.Posted Mar 14, 2015
The first impression is a good one; tasteful decor and welcoming staff. Overall had a decent stay but some sticking points: -the hallways smell of dust and damp -room service food very basic/below par. Half cold minestrone soup and salad without any dressing was not a highlight -breakfast was equally disappointing. Absent-minded service as well -I asked reception to call me a car well in advance to make a train at 9.30am. They ordered the car a good 20mins after I asked, and with no car in sight I had to navigate through the subway system which I had never used and ended up missing my 9.30am train. More speed/efficiency wouldnt hurt -The room was lovely though and bed was extremely comfortable. Nice bathroom accessories as well.

Lovely staff, hotel bar and breakfast.Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Staff, breakfast, bar.
Cons: Rooms could be brighter.
Thoroughly enjoyed two nights here in March. Staff very helpful and friendly, most spoke at least some English and several were fluent. Hotel bar and breakfast spread was fantastic (albeit costing 27€ per head!) Room was a bit small but it was the most basic one. Location great, a 2 minute stroll through the Royal Galeries Hubert and you are basically at the Grand Place. Would visit again.

Gutes Stadthotel,Posted Mar 9, 2015

Great VisitPosted Mar 6, 2015
Pros: The location was super and the service outstanding.
Location: Shops and restaurants, right in the center of town!!!
The nice thing about the Dominican was that they allowed me a very early check-in, having arrived in Brussels around 06:00. I did not want to stay at the airport since I had not been in Belgium for years and had an overnight. They were very accommodating and I was able to check in by 09:00 after a great breakfast at the Hotel. Would highly recommend it.

nice hotel, great locationPosted Mar 5, 2015
Cons: Room was very, very warm even with the poor air conditioning on. We were there in Feb so Id hate to be there in summer.
Very good hotel, great location for all Brussels attractions and easy walk to all bars , restaurants and squares. Good hotel bar but breakfast is very expensive. Very helpful and freindly staff.

Outstanding Hotel. Highly recommended.Posted Mar 3, 2015
My wife and I stayed at The Dominican for our honeymoon, and were very pleased with it. Staff were friendly (all spoke English), received free room upgrade upon arrival and a congratulations for getting married. Mini bar was free throughout our stay! Room was very comfortable and clean, and quite roomy, with a decent view. The location is unbeatable. The bar has a good selection, and the dinner we had at the restaurant was excellent. The ONLY criticism of the hotel is that it didn't appear to employ enough staff, sometimes the bar was unstaffed and the restaurant sometimed lacking servers, but nothing too serious. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent locationPosted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Location, efficiency and friendliness of front of house staff.
Cons: A steam room is offered but wasn't working properly. Our dirty glasses were not replaced after the first night.
Location: Chez Leon is great for moules and lunch offer. Would avoid the many tourist menus in other places although good value for those on a budget.
We had a lovely weekend stay in Brussels and were pleased we had booked a very central hotel minutes walk from the Grand Place with lots of choice of bars and restaurants particularly as the weather was mixed.

Adult trip.Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The staff and the modern amenities
Cons: Closer to the Grand Palace
We had an amazing 4 day trip to Brussels and stayed at the Domincan Hotel. We arrived early to the hotel and the front receptionist was able to find us our room and check us right in. The hotel was very clean and had just about everything we needed. The only negative I have to stay is that I wish it had been closer to the Grand Palace but it was very close to the opera house. I would absolutely stay there again.

Viaggio di LavoroPosted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: La zona ristorante e bar
Personale giovane, gentile e ben preparato. Giudizio super positivo !!
