“good hotel, bad neighbourhood”

The hotel itself was really good, but the neighbourhood wasn't. Breakfast was O.K. and the hotel was very quiet. It was really hard to find the hotel as there is no sign outside and the street itself is quite small.

“Fresh, modern and centrally located.”

The Hotel was very fresh and modern. The rooms were simple but tastefully decorated. Our room was immaculate upon our arrival and there were maids each day to make the beds and provide fresh towels. The beds were comfortable, although the pillows were not very good. Staff were polite, friendly and eager to help and chat to us. Staff advised us on local attractions and where best to go for drinks and eating. They also printed out several maps and subway diagrams for us. A continental breakfast was served each morning. After missing breakfast one morning one of the staff kindly offered to make us breakfast. Overall our experience of the hotel was excellent and I would definitely recommend it. Thanks

Nice hotel and rooms. Good breakfast. Good location near the Metro and Brussels North train station. Location red district but not a problem.

“Great hotel for the price”

The Theater Hotel was excellent value for money, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable - we weren't even phased by having to climb three sets of windy stairs to get there. The hotel is in the red light district, and even though we arrived in the middle of the day there were lots of women on the street already. However, we never felt threatened, even when walking back at night, and it was only 10 minutes walk from Grand Place! Also quite close to Gard du Nord which was very convenient.

“Nice place!”

The room was nice and large. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was decent sized. Everything seems fairly new with modern fixtures. It had a nice style. The location was close to the Metro (Yzer stop) and walking distance to the North Train station (10-15 minutes walk with luggage). Walking distance to Grand Place and most tourist attractions There were prostitutes in the front, but we didn't feel threatened or unsafe.

“Something you need to know”

The hotel was nice and bedrooms very roomy. The staff very nice and helpful, The only dissappointing thing was it was in a red light area which we were definetly not prepared for!! So as long as you don't mind that it was a lovely hotel as a base for visiting the city of brussels

“Smart contemporary hotel”

Recently smartly refurbished. Everything was new and streamlined with bold colours. The reception staff was sophisticated and welcoming.

“Nice staff but not good neighbourhood”

Seriously, this hotel has prostitutes walking up and down the street outside day and night. Terrible place to take children.

“Red light district.”

It is in the red light district with prostitutes walking around the hotel day and night. They never bothered us but made my family very uncomfortable.
