“Oasis near the airport”

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The lobby area was clean, bright and inviting. The room was perfect with modern furnishings, great decor and amenities. They also offered free soft drinks from the mini bar. Coffee/tea maker in the rooms. The only drawback is the small shuttle bus, it can only accommodate 8 people. It starts running at 6am and runs every 30 minutes for the first 2 hours. So leave yourself extra time to get to the airport or arrange for a taxi.

“Great for Business Travelers!”

I stayed at the Van Der Valk Hotel Brussels on a long layover, returning to the US and was very impressed with the property. The appearance of the hotel was amazing, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were quite comfortable - even better than those of a 4-star hotel I'd stayed in earlier in the week. Wireless internet was available at no charge and mini-bar beverages were complimentary as well. The hotel's airport shuttle conveniently runs ever 15-30 minutes (sorry, I don't recall exactly). I have nothing but great things to say about the hotel and would definitely return if ever in Brussels again.

“Great place to stay!”

So convenient to the train station and the airport. The staff was extremely helpful. Rooms really modern, clean, and comfortable. Bar and restaurant excellent. There was even a big-screen TV set up downstairs so we could enjoy the World Cup playoffs! We'll definitely return to this hotel.

“Great deal close to the airport”

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be close to the airport. The hotel is very new, very clean, with very nice amenities. The free shuttle from the airport is a huge bonus as a taxi ride would cost quite a bit for only being a mile or so away. The room was pleasant, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with a nice tub in it. The hotel is NOT near the Grand Place, the tourist area of town, though you can hop on a short train ride. However, if you're looking for a hotel for an overnight layover (as was the case with us) at the airport, its perfect.

“a very good hotel”

This was the perfect hotel. It was clean, the staff was friendly and the hotel resturante had good dishes. The staff arranged to have a taxi to pick me up from the airport free of charge. This is a business hotel, though it was very quiet during the stay. So that was perfect. You must have access to a vehicle if you stay at this location, because it is in the middle of nowhere (somewhat). Anyway, I highly recomment this hotel....who knew that a business hotel could be so romantic. My lover and I had a great couple of days there.

“ATTN: BUSINESS TRAVELERS”

If you are traveling on Business or need to stay close to the airport, I highly recommend the Golden Tulip. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and my room was spotless each day. I especially enjoyed the breakfst each morning, which had everything from fresh lox to yogurt and pastries. The hotel lobby is beautiful and quiet, perfect to relax. I would stay there again on a future trip.

Stayed there two nights. Near the airport although you'd need taxi or a car to get anywhere New hotel, modern, and has all the facilities for business travels

Vander Valk Hotel was extremely modern with all the amenities one could need for your stay. I loved the decor. The staff was very cordial but forgot to tell me about leaving the hotel card in the wall so that the lights would turn on. So i spent several minutes fumbling around in the dark. It's conveniently located near the airport but it was extremely difficult to get there unless you have a knowledgeable taxi driver. My ride to the Vander Valk cost 26 Euros for 1.5KM ride. Overall, the hotel itself was great! I would highly recommend it.

“One of the best at Brussels Airport”

A really nice hotel, modern and clean with everything you need for an overnight stay (or longer). Only complaint, the shuttle bus didn't turn up at the airport even after waiting for an hour.
