I love this hotel.

My family really enjoy the stay here. All the stuff are friendly and the room is clean. It's so easy to access to the National Park.

Lakeview Room!

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Everyone working there shared their knowledge on what to see in the Park. Very friendly staff and they were all very helpful.
Location: Located right before the entrance to Bryce National Park.
Our room was very comfortable and had a wonderful view of the lake. The Bryce National Park Shuttle stops at this hotel so it is very convenient for exploring the Park. The Restaurant menu was varied and the food was good. This is a good place to stay whether you have a family or by yourself.

"Take it or leave it" attitude is disappointing

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Hotel manager was shockingly arrogant. When politely asked for a room on 2nd floor (not on street level), the manager Scott told me that he is sold out. Would have been ok if it stopped there - he went on to say, "At this point, you can take the room or check out" - really!? When asked how I could have indicated my preference when their website did not gimme the option, he said, "Am I supposed to read your mind?". Clearly the hotel was getting too much business and the manager made it known that he did not care. The restaurant in the hotel is mediocre. The quality of food in the buffet is poor even though the price is quite high. Go for the other items on the menu or the diner next door. Overall Best Western Plus Ruby's Inn was a very disappointing experience.

Hiking Bryce Canyon

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Room location, Shuttle Service into Bryce Park, Self-Laundry facilities
Location: Good location for hiking in Bryce National Park.
We stayed one night while hiking in Bryce Canyon. Our room was on the back side of this property, in the Lake View section. I am sure that these rooms are much quieter than some of the other rooms toward the front of Ruby's Inn. Ruby's was very convenient to accessing Bryce Canyon. The close shuttle service into the park is a plus. Overall I feel Ruby"s was fine for our needs.

Over priced and old Poor internet

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Very over priced and in need of upgrades. No ice in the building. No internet until I spent 40 min on the phone with their external IT people. Not enough towels. Room not very cool.

Great location for Bryce Canyon!

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: We missed the free breakfast that other hotels offer!
Location: Great location for Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park!
Hotel was OK; great location! Staff was friendly. Bryce Canyon City is a very small town, so only a few hotels available in this location.

Annoying

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Our door was hard to open. Maintenance knocking on our door at 9:30 pm for a different room call. 8:30 am housekeeping on our check out date then Maintenance twice by 9:30 am wanting to paint our door saying check out is at 10 when it is at 11. The ice machine is in the main building which would be fine if it was working. After the second one i looked for a do not disturb sign but there was none. So many chemicals in the spa that it was bubbling and burning my eyes. Hotel resturant was not much better. There is no way I will recommend it to anyone.

Location location location

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Proximity to Bryce Canyon
Cons: More facilities and options for dining.
Location: Bryce Canyon is wonderful and well worth visiting, otherwise nothing else to do near by.
Large motel, spread out over a large area. Basic Ok facilities. Ideally placed to visit Bryce Canyon otherwise don't go there. If you are visiting Bryce Canyon then it's in an ideal location, with a shuttle bus to pick you up near to the hotel. Bryce Canyon city is NOT a city, just two hotels a camp ground and a petrol station. Don't expect local facilities or places to eat, you are a captive audience when staying at Ruby's inn. We ate at the lodge in the park and that was lovely.
