Hotel close to Bryce CanyonPosted May 1, 2015
Pros: close to Bryce Canyon
Location: Ruby's offers about anything you could want to do while in the area.
Very large facility near Bryce Canyon. Huge gift shop and multiple activities available close by. Room was clean and food in the restaurant was good. Everyone we encountered was courteous, pleasant and helpful. We were early in the year for some of the entertainment. Would recommend

Nice hotel close to BrycePosted May 1, 2015
Pros: It is right next to the park. You can take the shuttle or drive. Resturant is excellent.
Cons: Nothing on my list
Location: Bryce Canyon
Easy check in, nice room. We had a room in the Elk building facing the lake or pond, much better than in the main building or facing the parking.

April showersPosted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Quality of the room and the price.
Cons: Check-in was slow as a tour bus had just arrived. No bar?
Location: Wonderful opportunities to hike in Bryce Park
We had a lovely room, very clean, and with a view of the lake. The room was quiet so finding the car clean from a series of night-time showers was a surprise!

great location, decent overall valuePosted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Location and overall value.
Cons: Foreign restaurant help needs to learn what good service means.Americans were great. Little pricey no salad,Bread if you ask. PPV movies were lousy
Location: Close to Bryce. Hike and site see. Old west shows had not started for the season but could be fun to see.
Nice area and stayed two nights.Great if traveling through and want to see Bryce.Went to two breakfasts and two dinners. Restaurant was pricey at dinner when you consider no salad with the meal. Diner next door was not open yet. Had two great american waitstaff but found most others foreign and really don't understand good service. First time at breakfast we were set down and left with no contact for 5-6 minutes. I was ready to walk out.. They were not very busy. Once we had coffee and food there was little follow up and we were rushed with the check. At dinner the American waiter was great and we bantered about Ales while I willingly drank more :). Cable company PPV choice was lousy and it looked like 480 dpi. I know this is an expensive upgrade for hotels but once used to HD it is hard to watch anything else. As an early bird I could not get coffee before 7 am in the gift shop or 6:30 in the restaurant. I never use the room coffee makers. Still overall decent and worthy.

Best locationPosted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Location, facilities, restaurant
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Bryce Canyon right outside their door. Perfect place to stay when visiting the Park.
This complex is immense and at a perfect location to the park. The history of Ruby's fits right in with the history of Bryce Canyon Park.

Sprawling city within a hotelPosted Apr 22, 2015
There aren't many options in town, and this one isn't too bad. The rooms are habitable and everything you could want is sold somewhere on the hotel grounds. The buffet is expensive, but the food is decent. The general store is pretty impressive in scope. The whole hotel has a very Western frontier gone tourist feel which, I suppose, isn't a bad thing.
