“Paul from Colorado”

This was a big, clean, comfortable room. The location near the park is great. I agree with others that calling this a resort is a stretch, and the rates are a bit high for a plain motel, but I suppose you pay for the location and overall its a nice place to stay. The pool was clean and the kids loved it, but it is a bit small and unheated. Staff was friendly and I'd definitely consider staying here again.

“Not fancy but a good value.”

This "mom & pop" motel was a good value and what I expected. The room was clean, the man on the desk was helpful and overall, my experience was fine. The term "resort" is a stretch, but wasn't an issue for me. I only needed a place to stay for one night. There's a Subway on the same property. The other restaurant didn't appear to be open. The location was very convenient-just a few miles outside of Bryce Canyon National Park. If you want a "resort," this isn't the place for you. If you just need an overnight, it worked fine for me.

“expensive but convienent”

The rooms wre pretty expensive for the quality (plain ol'hotel rooms with little to no frills) but the staff were very nice and the restaurant was good and convienent.

“Good value.”

For the price, this was quite a satisfactory motel. No internet in the rooms, but it was available in the office. I had some blue ice for a cooler which they froze for me, which was helpful. The location was near the entrance for Bryce National Park. All in all, a good experience.

“Nice room in handy location.”

Mid-winter we found our key attached to the front door as the hotel was apprently "closed" but there was someone on duty in the foyer if we needed help. He was pleasant and helpful and the room was spacious, clean, well furnished and well heated.

“Good points outweigh (barely) the bad.”

Our room had only a dim bulb in a multiple-bulb ceiling fixture when we arrived. On request, they located a bedside table lamp. Bed linens and towels were clean. The tub/shower enclosure was extremely dingy and definitely needs replacing. No in-room coffee maker was provided, however there was a microwave and we used it to make coffee with our own mugs and instant. Wi-fi was available only in the lobby. Their little restaurant next door was nothing to look at, but the service and food were excellent. The hotel is very close to Bryce Canyon National Park and inexpensive for a tourist destination. We would recommend it for price, pleasant service and convenience even though we thought that even for a relatively cheap hotel, we got a bit less than we paid for.

“BRYCE CANYON”

The room was clean as could be and perfect for a good nights sleep after spending a busy day in Bryce. The location to the park is super and the close-by restaurant is a good alternative to what is available in town. Other than a couple simple repairs needed in the room this resort has what it takes to meet lodging needs.

“Hotel's website lies”

The Bryce Canyon website (as of July 2011) claimed that every room had wi-fi. When we could not get wifi in the room, we went to the front desk to ask. They said there was wifi in the lobby and restaurant only. When asked about the website, they said "... the website has many problems and does not accurately reflect aspects of the hotel." Bottom-line - don't trust the website. It claims things that don't exist. The other major complaint - the AC is noisy. If you want it to cool, it will cycle loudly on and off, making it hard to sleep. If you want the fan to always be on, the unit won't heat or cool. Location of the hotel is good, very close to the park.
