“Bryce Hotel--Not so good”

This hotel was hosted by a nice manager but it is deteriorating and depressing.

“Disgusted”

I would never recommend staying in this hotel! There are a few other hotels in the area which seemed much nicer. We had a dirty, smelly room with a black and white tv. Everything was old, run down, and disgusting. I have no idea why or how this hotel is still AAA approved. Typically, you go with a AAA approved hotel and although you've seen no pictures, it is great. This is not the case with this one!

“The best you can say about this place is that the mirror worked OK !”

Arrived after pre-booking, and after a very long day's travel, unloaded car of wife and all luggage etc and entered Reception. Pre-printed notice advises nobody available but go to Marianna Hotel for keys etc - (No indication of distance to Marianna Hotel !) Leave wife and luggage, drive to try to find Marianna Hotel. Eventually locate it on northern outskirts of town and enter Reception. Told that there was now a Room here instead. So I'd have to go and collect the wife and luggage anyway, and then unload it all over again ! And then in the evening be miles away from anything when we wanted to go out for a meal ! Finally given key to Ground Floor Room at original hotel. I even had to ask the Owner for the apology for the obvious inconvenience. The best thing about the room was that the mirror worked. The worst thing was that there was no staff anywhere, the Reception and corridor was open to the street all night, and spare keys to all the rooms were instantly to anybody's hand just behind the reception desk ! Another luckless guest indicated that the same thing had happened to them ! The worst treatment ever in 20 years of USA travel. Never again. No, really, NEVER.

“Avoid this hotel”

Would have been cleaner staying in a brothel. I took several unsightly photos and checked out a day early. If you enjoy taking a shower in tubs that don't drain, while staring at paper stuffed holes in the drywall then this is the place for you.
