Visit to Bryce Canyon

Posted Jul 17, 2014
About 15 miles from Bryce. Very few dining options nearby especially on Sunday. Room was not very clean. Carpet was filthy. Parking was on gravel as was the walk to breakfast. Breakfast was ok, not great, but had to wonder about cleanliness given the room conditions. Next time would stay at one of the two hotels just outside Bryce.

good place for Bryce and departure for Zion

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Better breakfast. Hot water in shower.
Location: Red Canyon Park on way to Bryce Canyon, Bryce Canyon 25 minutes away. Zion NP about 90 min. away. Eat at Pines about 3 miles from Bryce turn off.
Clean, decent room. Shower early, no hot water first morning. Breakfast OK, could use yogurt, fresh fruit, etc . .

Just OK

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Wi-Fi, facilities in general.
Location: Bryce Canyon is very close. Zion isn't far. In ski season it isn't far to good resorts either. Panguich is also a fun little town, five miles away.
I stayed for one night. It's in a great location, but the facility seemed to be run down a bit. It looked as if it had just reopened. The room was clean and good sized. The Wi-Fi though was a joke. It constantly disconnected itself and wanted you to log in again. And the connection was slow. And the gravel parking lots? I expected that if I rode in on horseback, but they weren't even level.

Nice hotel close to town

The hotel was basic but clean. The room was quite big and had a microwave and fridge. The breakfast was adequate. I would stay here again.

Way Overpriced! Dismal really...

Posted Jul 9, 2014
It was not in town and not convenient to anything. The lobby furnishings consisted of three chairs- nothing more. The room was not particularly clean; furniture worn and carpet dirty. Toiletries cheap. Had I not been committed to staying there I would have left. It was in no way Quality.

Field trip to national parks in Utah.

Pros: My comments above describe my feelings.
Cons: Keep it as it is.
(2014) This hotel is more than adequate. It is not fancy. It's not meant to be. But it is clean. No bedbugs. The beds are comfortable. The Wifi connection works easily. Breakfast is average but satisfying. Conveniently located for Bryce Canyon and Escaliante.
