Good value, good location, friendy staff
Good clean well equipped hotel on the edge of the old town, the rooms are modern and comfortable, if a little warm! The airport shuttle is good value and reliable, far simpler than doing battle for a local cab. The restaurant reccomendation the receptionist made suited our needs and she even printed out a map as well as giving clear directions. This was my third stay at this hotel and definitely not the last!

My brother and I only spent about six hours in the Z Executive Hotel when we returned to Bucharest for the last night of our Romania trip. The facility and location were great, and the bed couldn't have been more comfortable... I just wished I could have stayed in it a little longer!

Disliked the fact that there was one small elevator that was so slow. I was also put on the 10th floor right below the dining area where it was loud every night with private parties going on. I could hear the loud music and people both nights.

Located right in core downtown, close to fancy restaurants and pubs, and still an oasis of tranquility. Spacious room, very clean, and the staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Next time I'm visiting Bucharest I'm not going to try another hotel, for sure.

The one nice thing about this hotel was the size of the rooms which were nice and big. However this hotel greatly needs to change their towels and remodel their aging rooms and bathrooms. The safe did not work and the shower was tricky to manage a consistent temperature. The breakfast was okay but I do not recommend eating there for dinner. The hotel is very noisy if you are on the second floor with 6 am garbage pickups and traffic. This hotel is very walkable but I would not stay here again.

Hear of old city Bucharest
Definitely a perfect location. Solo female traveler and never felt uncomfortable in the area. Initial visit was a bit difficult to find as down a small side street. Breakfast was very impressive with selection of fruits and breads; eggs scrambled, poached and omelet; bacon, ham, sausage; cold cuts and cheeses; cereals, juice and coffee. Beautiful view from restaurant. Building is going through some renovations as it is older structure. Staff were very kind.

The property does not look like it's photos. I was given a room other than I asked and paid for, the hotel claimed they were over booked. The hotel nor hotels.com will refund me the difference. I spent a lot of time wasted in messaging and emails with no solution, neither want to provide a refund for the difference I paid but did not receive. It's a shame and embarrassing that hotels.com cannot refund me what amounts to under $150.

Modern hotel with a perfect central location.
The hotel proved a perfect base for spending a couple of days exploring central Bucharest. Right on the edge of the old town and close by Universitate metro station. Disabled travellers beware- taxis can't get near the door, and the breakfast room is on the 11th floor but the lift only goes to the 9th

A mixed bag
We booked the hotel as it was advertised with a spa. This was closed for the duration of our stay. The rooms are clean and modern, but the shower heads could do with descaling and the shower doors didn’t fit right so we had puddles in the floor most days. The beds are a little too soft for me also. We had a room facing the rear of some other buildings and even with the windows shut on the 6th floor I got woken by binmen at 05.30. The service at reception was wonderful, but don’t expect the same at breakfast. I had to knock on the kitchen door where they were stood chatting to get assistance with the broken coffee machine as we had been up there for a good 20 mins without seeing any staff. This sounds like a gripe list but it’s a nice hotel in a decent location with great front of house service. The room was warm, clean and spacious- did the job! Overall, a good stay.

Great location. Clean, quiet little hotel. Stunning view of the downtown from the restaurant. Breakfast offers healthy food,a lot of choices, great coffee, pleasant atmosphere. All staff is very helpful, polite and professional. I stayed for 12 nights and had a great experience. Will go back and recommend it to all .

Great location, needs a bit of renovating
Excellently positioned close to the old town however a little tired looking and decor needs a revamp- fraying carpets and faint smell of smoke throughout was a bit of a disappointment. Breakfast timings were a bit delayed from when we were told it would be ready, meaning one morning we missed it due to going on a tour that day.

I was overall happy with my stay here! The cleaning staff were super friendly, efficient and thoughtful although they had a bit of a job on their hands in my room due to the smell of the drains - spent most of the time in my room with the windows open. The front desk staff were super friendly, welcoming and speak English ☺️ Shout out to Hermina who was awesome! I also totally recommend their shuttle service.....he was friendly, on time and gave great advice on things to do and places to eat ☺️ PERFECT location! Like I could not have asked for a better location - that alone would be why I would come back here to stay 😊 The free breakfast is okay - don’t expect the buffet of a large chain hotel. The bed was amazing! I’m not kidding - most comfortable bed I have had in a hotel anywhere!
