Room was good in terms of cleanness. spa services were good however room service was very poor. Reception don’t always answer the phone. Asked for tea and got coffee instead and when I mentioned to the lady that I asked for tea she made a dirty face. Later I asked for milk which never arrived. The room had some road noise entering due to the windows being single glazed.

The sleep in the room was overbearing with disinfectant. The beds were dated and sloped on the edges. My son fell out of the bed! No updated and dated and duty flooring. Despite all that, the staff really gave it there all.

When we booked the room I asked if we could have a late checkout, I was told to inform reception on the morning we had to checkout as it depended on availability. Which didn’t make sense. The let down was the service. We tried to ring hotel reception from the room but the phone was not working so we tried ringing from our mobile a number of times but no one picked up after many many attempts. This resulted in us not able to have a late check out as we wanted. They don’t answer their phone which was big inconvenience .

Room for the hotel is not expected as showed in the picture, room is very small & disappointed with breakfast. Staff for breakfast not very helpful and approachable. We have to have our breakfast outside in the morning. Apart from room small & problem With breakfast, pool & Gym is good & ideal for family holiday.

It was all going well until the rave started
Checkin was fine - room was clean and the shower was nice. Staff seemed friendly. The view out the window was one of what I now think is some kind of function hall with an alley lined with bins. It was a bit weird but never mind, didn’t book for the view. We went out to a restaurant to return to a wedding in full swing - looked awesome! There was no real indication that this would be any issue - it was close to silent in the lobby. As we got closer to our room - the sub bass from the wedding literally shook the fittings. The constant thud of a kick rattled pretty much throughout the room. Thinking “They must know this happens” we figured it would probably quieten down, left it to around 11:30 and called Reception. Guy confirms this is going on till 1am. I got no sleep - the hotel 100% knows these rooms can be impacted by the functions, just have to look on trip advisor. The hotel offered me 50% off another stay with them - I want a partial refund, I doubt I’ll see it or the £50 damage deposit they take (again look on trip advisor) Breakfast was tasty and the spa and pool were quite nice but it was in no way a relaxing stay, avoid if there likely to be a function, I guess?

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us, Kara. We understand the impact the noise from the event had on your stay and this is something we're looking at a long term solution for. We hope, after you phoned, and the DJ was requested to turn the music and bass down, this was felt less in your room. From what has been handed over to me, the reservations manager will be in touch with you directly, I will follow up with her to see if that's done. We don't charge you a damage deposit, it's only ever held in your bank, for us, as a preauthoriation. Sometimes our payment provider is slow to release them on our behalf but I'll personally follow yours up and manually release it, If necessary. Once it's released by us, and your bank has received that communication, they should take 3-5 working days to make your funds available to you. We're genuinely very thankful to you for noting the aspects of your stay that you were able to enjoy. We will be in touch with you soon, personally,Kindest Regards,Stephen and the team

I would give my 1 night stay a 6/10. The spa was very small with nowhere to really sit apart from on the side of the wall. The lounge bar had a band playing who were good, but were very loud and when asked if we could sit in the resteraunt for a quiet drink we were told no. The room was pretty basic, however we both had a good night sleep which is the main thing. Breakfast was definitely the highlight. The food was great, and the staff were attentive.

Family stay for london and around.
Lovely, pleasent staff, fabulous breakfast, very comfy beds, good in room amenities. Spa and pool area great too as we could watch kids (11 &9) in the pool while in the sauna. Good location for London (tube from Uxbridge), Windsor, Harry Potter studios, legoland.
