“Will definitely go back”

Very friendly, flexible service. Lovely homemade, freshly cooked food. If we had to find fault it would be a minor one that the rooms & toilets were perhaps in need of a little refurbishment. This didn't detract from a very enjoyable, relaxing stay in this beautiful part of the country.

Lovely quiet village location. Genuinely friendly and helpful landlord with interesting background. Food good - much better steak than I recently had at an expensive gastropub. OK some of the decor is a bit tired but at this price you can't expect major refurbishments every few years and the details -nice fluffy towels, decent biscuits etc- were good.These people are trying hard to give a good customer service and deserve to succeed.
