Vivaldi hotel/apt in budapestPosted Jun 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very nice studio apt. all furnished inc some dishes. did not have a toaster, but does have microwave, full-size fridge and even washing machine. had wi-fi in lounge on first floor or just outside the office. also close to a tram line, 24 hour laundromat, a small park, and some local restaurants. nice large (almost king-size) bed and lamps on each side. Large bathroom with tub/shower.

Good choicePosted Jun 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location is not the best in Budapest (probably hard to find without GPS) but the public transport is not very far, the only problem I see beside the location is that there is no WiFi in the rooms. The kitchen is well equiped and the appartment is not small.

Clean, spacious and helpful staff. No wifi in roomPosted Jun 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Enjoyed my stay at Vivaldi apartments. Staff were helpful to arrange for me to get keys from a safe due to late arrival. Spacious and quiet rooms. Only negative is that wifi coverage is not good at rooms. One would have to be near the reception to be connected.

Great clean hotel for the pricePosted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Vivaldi was great, clean, fairly comfortable and an overall great value. The location was a decent distance but we had no issue walking to the city center, or anywhere we were going for that matter. It's close to a grocery store which is convenient since you have a kitchen in the apartment, so that was really cool, lots of good cheap restaurants near by too. I would definitely stay there again.

Great apartments... zero service.Posted Sep 17, 2012 on Hotels.com
There's nothing wrong at all with the apartments - they're spacious, clean and new. I would love to give 5 stars for the apartment, however: when they say self-service, they mean zero service. I couldn't find the place as the road is not on any maps, and nobody picked up the phone when I tried to call them. I finally arrived at 8pm (which I had told them before) and reception was closed. I tried to call the contact number for over an hour and didn't get any response, then finally got a call back telling me where they hid my key (why not just send an email with this information upfront?). When I left, it was a similar situation - I had left my bag at reception after check out, and when it was time for the shuttle to the airport to arrive, reception was closed and I had to call them again to get my bag, although we agreed exactly on the time I would return. Reception closes as random times - whenever I asked for something, I got it, but none of the staff did talk, smile or anything else to make you feel you less than a nuisance. We also had a lot of trouble with a group of guys that rented one of the apartments and partied loudly in the hallways all night, every night, and got really aggressive towards other guests who were complaining - as there was no staff at all in the building after around 6pm, there was nobody to help out with this. I don't expect great service when booking a self-service apartment, but every single interaction was a lot of hassle.

The apartment was good, clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The staff let the place down slightly and seemed desperate to go home! Wifi is only in the tiny reception area. The number 2 tram takes you sling the river, although it is a nice walk, very convenient in the evening.
