“trendy hotel on the danube”

If you like the new modern boutique style hotel this hits all the right notes. Love the concept of art throughout and perhaps the only silly thing to mention - and its a point in many hotels - hardwood/laminate floors in rooms would be preferable. Be sure to have river view room - gorgeous view to parliament buildings

“Excellent Hotel will be back”

Very impressed with the hotel - very smart, efficient with helpful, friendly staff. We stayed in the old part overlooking a small park and the theatre. Location is excellent, so convenient for all the major attractions. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was great! My room was overlooking the Danube with a beautiful view of Parliament and the Chain Bridge. There was interesting artwork throughout the hotel. The room was modern, clean, and the windows soundproofed! The train runs in front of the hotel(convenient). Short walk to the pest side was enjoyable. Breakfast was included and delicious. The staff was helpful with tours and taxis. I had a great time. You even can see St. Mathais church if you look out the window when waiting for the elevator!

Location ideal Buda side of Chain Bridge within easy walking distance of many sights. If not into walking metro and tram stops very close.Hotel very good, staff helpful and if lucky a room with a few over the danube is a must!

“Fabulous hotel with an incredible view”

We just got back from a tour of eastern Europe and while in Budapest we stayed at the ArtOtel Budapest. It was a fantastic choice. The hotel was incredibly cool and the service was great. Our room was spacious and spotless. We upgraded to a Danube view room and it was definitely worth paying a little more. The view was truly spectacular. Even the breakfast was good each morning. I would definitely recommend the ArtOtel Budapest. It was the best place we stayed all vacation.

“Modern hotel with friedly staff”

I just returned from a three night stat at ArtOtel and highly recommend the hotel. The staff was friendly for the most part and would have received a 5 it not for the night staff. The hotel was very cleaned and had a great view of the parliment. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite and the rooms were large and comfortable even by American stadards. One down side is that the subway by the hotel is underconstruction so you either have to ride a tram/bus or taxi to visit Pest. We mostly rode taxi and the service from the hotel to our destination was fine, but need to be careful not to get taken by taxi drivers when you need to return. Overall, the best hotel we stayed in over our 2 weeks vacation in Europe.

Great stay. Beautiful view on the Danube (more expensive room). Very helpful and efficient Staff at reception desk. Free intrenet was great to send/receive e-mails. Stayed 5 nights.Will certainly go back.
