“Great place to stay!”

The location of this hotel is fabulous. It's only a couple blocks from the M3 metro line and it's walking distance to Gellert Hill, the river, and the rock church. The breakfast was very nice and the room was larger than usual for Europe. The front desk staff was polite and helpful.

Nice hotel, very well situated for sights, interesting decor, very comfortable room, very helpful English speaking staff, ok buffet breakfast included in the price.

Excellent Stay. Central position in the old town with plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff were friendly, helpful, and speak excellent English. Despite booking [and paying for] an ordinary double room, we were given a very comfortable suite. Breakfast adequate. We would certainly stay there again and strongly recommend it to others

Hotel Art was wonderful. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. The staff was helpful and courteous, the rooms spotless and comfortable. The location could not have been better. It was very quiet.

“WAY above my expectations”

Perfect location. I spent a week in Budapest staying at the Best Western. I was able to walk to all tourist spots. All receptionists were friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay there again!

“Good and worth the price”

Cheap and good Hotel. The only thing I would mention; the lack vegetables in the breakfast. It was better with some tomatoes , peppers or something else.

“Cute Hotel in a Centralized location”

I stayed at Best Western Hotel Art for 6 nights. It is in a nice quiet location but an easy walk from the riverfront, Raday Utca and other parts. The hotel room was a single, with a single (not a twin by US standards) bed. It was very clean. My on reason for a 4 on room comfort was that I could smell cigarrette smoke either from a room on the same floor (which was a non-smoking floor, so someone was violating the rules) or it was coming from another floor via the vent. There was a single bath, face and foot towel which they changed every day. Hot water was available all the time. The room was very small by US standards for a single and I can only compare it to being smaller than a studio apt. The cafeteria had a nice breakfast. Scrambled eggs every day, but other fare was changed. It was nice specially on my first morning since I was starving. You could get any kind of coffee. Overall not a bad deal since I was on a business trip and spent most of my time at the office. The hotel staff was very courteous. I had left my cell phone charger in my room and when I called them back from the US, they had it and seemed concerned that I had forgotten it. I definitely would recommend it it you are able to stay in a small room.

“Highly recommended”

We highly recommend the Hotel Art. The rooms are updated and felt more like a boutique hotel than a Best Western. It's also one of the relatively few hotels with triple rooms, which are perfect for a family. The hotel is on a side street near a major square in Pest with lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel's breakfast was good for the price and very convenient. The hotel's staff was excellent. We were stuck in London when our Budapest flight was canceled during the December snowstorm, and the Hotel Art graciously refunded our prepaid reservation even though we had to cancel without the required notice. We then stayed at the hotel once we could make it to Budapest.

“Great People”

My wife and I found this to be a very accommodating though very quaint hotel near the heart of the city. Traffic was almost non-existent but the two restaurants under our windows gave a steady buzz in the evenings and as they had yet to turn the ACs on the windows had to be open at night. But the staff was more than gracious and helpful and spoke very good English and were a joy. The breakfast was substantial and location very good. We walked almost everywhere though we enjoy that sort of thing. The Metro is just a couple of blocks. The hotel offers a shuttle from the airport but we found the airport minibusz service to be a better deal. We would easily return to this hotel if we get back to Budapest. Mind you it is very simple and very quaint. Not much on frills, but superb in the basics.

“Wonderful hotel on Pest side”

We only stayed one night, but the hotel was great. Location is central to downtown Pest side, not far from the Central Market and Vaci Street. The staff was wonderful...very helpful and informative. We had a suite as we were traveling with our son and the room was great. Breakfast was included in the room price and was terrific. A buffet of meats, cheese, bread, yogurt, cereal, fruit, coffee, and juice. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
