“Great place to stay”

The hotel was not fancy but was very clean, the staff very nice, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was included and was eggs, cereal, toast, ham, cheese, yogurt. The location was very good. Close to the Danube. The staff spoke English and was very nice. The rooms were good size and nicely appointed.

Good hotel, value for money, very welcoming. Close to the river and as such close to all of the bridges. Breakfast simple but still had a choice, will cook eggs for you on demand. Will recommend this to my friends who are travelling to Budapest next year. There was supposed to be a bar there but I could not see it, also no amenities to sit in a lounge type area. However there was a sauna and a small fitness rooom. Good service, Good people, Good Hotel. Go There.

“great small hotel”

Orion is an excellent small European style hotel. The location is perfect, a five minute walk to the summit of castle hill and a ten minute walk across the Erzabet Bridge to the shopping and restaurants of Vaci Utca. The staff is helpful and friendly, the condition of the rooms is excellent, and the breakfast is great. We will stay there again when we return to Budapest.

very good service friendly staff situated just one street awat from the river the hotel is on the buda side of the river but is close to one of the bridges so very convenient to go across to the pest side i would stay at the hotel again and recommend it to others very reasonably priced place to stay

“Excellent Hotel”

The Hotel Orion is a small hotel located some 50 m from the Danube, close to the Elizabeth bridge, on the Buda side of Budapest and within 30 minutes comfortable walk from all the major tourist sites. Our non smoking room was quite large with a most comfortable king size bed and and sofa. Although the bathroom was rather small, everything was spotless and clean like the rest of the hotel. The breakfasts were typically continental which we found to be more than adequate. The hotel does not support a restaurant and bar, there is a mini bar in the room, but next door there is a very good restaurant which we used frequently. The hotel staff all spoke English and were most friendly and informative. This is certainly a hotel which we would use again and extremely good value for money.

“Budapests best hotel”

Both my friends and I had a lovely time in Budupest. We loved the hotel and the hotel service was perfect. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was fantastic, well cooked and presented. You could have what ever you wanted and it was cooked fresh within a couple of mins. One of my friends became ill with a very bad migraine for the last couple of days and the staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was any trouble for them even calling the doctor out for us. We are all planning to go back there and will tell our friends to stay at the hotel.

“Excellent stay at the orion”

Me and my son stayed for the Red Bull Air Race. 4 night stay. We are both large and the only comment was the bathroon was a bit small but not a problem. Extra pillows were on the bed when we returned after requesting them. Beds comfortable. All staff friendly. Breakfast was excellent with good choices. Eggs, meat and toast were cooked on request. Good location and we walked to all our destinations. Would stay here again no problem. Thanks.

“A pleasant surprise”

The hotel is located in a quiet street a short walk from the Elizabeth Bridge. It is a great location for exploring the castle and the monument. There's quite a nice restaurant behind the hotel. Breakfast is plentiful but repetitive. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were smallish but very clean and cosy.

ideally situated, only a short bus ride (free for over sixties. never actually saw anybody pay!)from all the action in city centre, but also ideal for buda attractions. staff very attentive without being intruseive. dont be fightened to use minibar, very reasonably priced.

Nice and clean frendly hotel very helpful staff good selection of food form the breakfast bar and the reception is coverd 24hrs a day, 10-15 min walk across a choice of Bridges for the shops and night life. well worth the visit.
