Good location and views of the Danube and BudapestPosted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: The room and the beautiful salon where tea and coffee is served in the afternoon. A few lousy biscuits does not afternoon tea make!
Cons: The lobby and eating area is very small and tired looking
Location: The Sailors Inn 50 m to the left is a must and the Belgian Cafe next door is good too
The room was lovely with great views of the Danube and the Parliament building especially at night. Very pleasant to stroll the riverfront with the locals. Easy access to good food and eating. The downsides of the hotel were that we we hurried out of room at 1100 but were then kept waiting at least 20 mins at reception while the manager was on the phone. Otherwise we missed the breakfast as we slept in but all in all it was a nice place to welcome us to Budapest and very close to the boarding area for our Danube river cruise.

Great boutique hotel in BudapestPosted Oct 28, 2013
Cons: Be nice if they had washcloths and thicker towels.
Location: Riverside, close to the funicular up to the Castle district, hop-on bus stop nearby, several traditional restaurants within walking distance.
Located directly across the Danube River, large windows looking out on the Parliament building. A beautifully maintained boutique hotel. Great breakfast, nicely designed rooms with lots of indirect lighting and plenty of space, located between the Margaret and Stone bridges so within walking distance of most sights on that side of the Danube. The staff was friendly and attentive. Pretty much all we could ask for at a very reasonable price. We'll stay there again the next time. Highly recommended.

Three days not enough!Posted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: Location, staff, breakfast, happy hour, comfy beds, view
Budapest lived up to all our expectations and more. So did the Hotel Victoria. The hotel staff couldn't do enough for us and were always pleasant and patient. The view over the Danube is stunning, especially when the parliament buildings are lit by the late afternoon sun. So much to see and do. We'll be back.

Great location, comfortablePosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed one night prior to boarding our riverboat & appreciated that our room was ready at 10:00 AM when we arrived, exhausted. It was very good sized, large bath & wonderful view of The Chain Bridge & Parliament buildings. The carpets are ready for replacement but the beds were very comfortable & the sheets & towels in excellent condition. A big plus here is the homey breakfast room where eggs are prepared to order & every other breadfast choice is available at a sideboard station. Staff were efficient. Location excellent for crossing the Chain Bridge to the center of the shopping district.

Location, LocationPosted Aug 2, 2013
Location: Able to walk across the chain bridge from the hotel. Did the Big Bus Tour which was very worthwhile. Stopped many places for some drinks and shoppin
Our location couldn't have been better since we were going on a Viking River Cruise. The breakfast that was included was very good/excellent. Our room on the 9th floor was one of only two rooms with an outside balcony. Really nice looking right out on the Danube. A/C worked great since it was terribly warm.

Its in a great location with wonderful views across the river. Lots of restaurants with good food to choose from close by and a great breakfast included. It also has a historical section of the house which is worth exploring.
