Good location on the DanubePosted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: Location on the Danube; get a River View Room for night views of city all lit up
Location: Parliament building within walking distance along with many restaurants, shopping area and Marketplace (indoors).
Looks stark on the outside, but modern with all the comforts on the inside. Restaurant on the premises but too expensive for breakfast.

Perfect LocationPosted Nov 16, 2013
Nice clean hotel. Perfect location for sites, shopping and nightlife. Everything was either a walk or a short cab journey away. Staff are very polite although some reception staff could be a little more forthcoming with recommending days out, places to eat, etc. but I think that's probably more of a cultural thing. My wife and I would certainly stay here again if/ when we visit Budapest again. We are in our late twenties if that helps anyone!

Great location, comfortable bedPosted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: Location, comfortable bed.
Location: Close to river and shopping street and main market.
This hotel is in a great location, especially if you are joining a river cruise. We were admitted to our room when we arrived at 2:00pm and not required to wait until 4:00pm (as the hotel had originally advised). The beds were very comfortable but there was a sound of running water in the bathroom which kept us awake at night.

Lovely hotel and easy to walk the city and river.Posted Nov 8, 2013
Pros: Very comfortable beds and very clean and spacious
Cons: The bathrooms, although large and clean, cold be updated.
Location: Very close to the river and the view was tremendous.
We had an issue with the Television not working, the staff was efficient. After all attempts made to fix the problem the staff moved us to another room. A Rainy day there and we had the experience to dine in the hotel restaurant. Excellent.

Good Hotel overlooking the Danube.Posted Nov 7, 2013
Pros: Location. Nice Bar Would be great in the summer - overlooking the Danube
Cons: More than 2 packets of milk in the cafe part of the bar. Need one bar soap in shower & one in sink. fix the door in bathroom
Location: Excellent location overlooking the Danube. Close to Veci U. and the 'big Market'... close to Hop-on-hop-off buses. Cabs to airport always available.
This whole area of Budapest is undergoing pavement and sidewalk renovation - they are laying flagstones everywhere. It will be very beautiful and make walking in the city very easy when it is finished. As of now... it is not very tourist friendly for walking. the hotel itself is good and predictable. The concierge staff... not great (maybe I just got a rookie!. Not all amenties in the room when we arrived and the door in the bathroom will not stay open when standing in front of the mirror. We were able to avail ourselves of the Scenic Cruises Day room and this was well set up. Centrally located for all siteseeing in Budapest. Delightful restaurant just around the corner - walking distance ...The Oldest Cafe in Budapest.... good food. Also 2 minutes from Veci U.

Excellent LocationPosted Oct 31, 2013
Pros: Location, friendly staff, room comfort and view, scales in the business centre to weigh cases
Cons: free wifi should really be provided in a hotel of this quality - it is a basic these days.
Location: walk to Heroes Square (4km) and see many of the sights along the way (pieces of the Iron Curtain and Berlin Wall eg), Chain Bridge and Green Bridge
Well located hotel within walking distance of shopping strip and restaurants. Good restaurant on site, and room comfort top quality. King size bed seemed larger than that but who can complain. Lack of free wifi , and the resultant daily cost, was disappointing because it made confirming flight details and seat allocation difficult/expensive, but overall this is a minor complaint given the quality of other services. We were checked in at 10am off our cruise when standard check-in is 4pm, and given a free late check-out at 2pm when standard time is 11am. These were invaluable services. Staff were courteous and friendly.

One of the best international hotels stayed at.Posted Oct 25, 2013
This hotel does everything right. Customer service, room and services quality, and excellent food services, in choice and quality. The only major hotel right on the Danbe waterfront - with wonderful views from both room and executive lounge. We can find nothing at all to criticize .

Faded glory of well known hotelPosted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: Location, restaurant services
Cons: Room equipment, price policy of additional services ( internet, WIFI, Parking )
Location: very central on the banks of Danube river
I do visit this hotel every year. Unfortunately this hotel did not pass during the last few years any reconstruction or face lift, so the equipment of rooms looks quite very shabby. Room prices per night absolutely not correspond with service and equipment quality rendered. The very positive fact about this hotel is its excellent location, excellent restaurant and bar with an outstanding staff and services provided. If you travel by car, get ready to outrageously expensive parking fees that the hotel charges.
