“Central Dominik Panzio”

I really enjoyed my time in Budapest at the Central Dominik Panzio. The panzio is located just few meters from the most important sites in Budapest. Their personnel were super friendly and helpfull. I strongly recommend the Central Dominik Panzio while you are in Budapest!

“brand new, great location, wonderful staff”

Central Dominik Pension just opened, so the rooms are in excellent condition and are well-maintained (the shower stalls are very small, however). All of the front desk personnel are friendly, attentive, and willing to please. The location is in a quiet, safe residential block that puts you less than a 1/2 mile (500m)from Heroes Square. There is a subway stop and ATM just two blocks away. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel.

“Affordable place to stay with great stuff”

Stayed there twice. First 4 days and later 2 days of my 2 weeks vacation. I checked lots of reviews about hotels in Budapest before I booked this one and I am very happy with my decision. They arranged a cab pickup for me from the airport late night which was very helpful. Great location, super friendly and helpful stuff, great breakfast. Nothing fancy but prompt. If you need an affordable place to stay with great service this is it. I visit Budapest a lot and from now on I will only stay at this hotel.

“Very nice hotel”

The staff all spoke English which was a big help. Room was large (especially for Europe). This is a very nice hotel for the price. It really isn't near a lot of the main attractions, but the metro stop is only about a block away, and the metro will get you to most of the main attractions, there is also an ATM about a block away which was very convienent. Would definately recommend this hotel.

“Great hotel in great location”

Great hotel with good breakfast. It is around the corner from the Kodaly Korond metro station and nearby a few sites in Budapest. Definitely highly recommended for the hospitality and cleanliness of the hotel.

“some issues”

The woman at the front was very nice and helpful, but -we asked for two twin beds, and they only had a queen -the cereal at breakfast was stale -they had no extra pillows, which is odd for a hotel Overall the location was decent and it was clean, but I was expecting better.

“Think twice before booking”

Very friendly staff and good location, that is all there is positive about this sleeping facility (I would not call it a hotel). Expect to be awakened any time of the night 3 a.m. or 4. 30 a.m. with the sound of the steps someone walking in the hallway thanks to wafer-thin walls all around. It takes some thinking to decide which part of your body you will dry with the single mid-sized towel they give each guest. No shower gel, no toiletries, nothing in mini bar. We stayed for three nights, our beds were not done a single time over the period. We have been to other inexpensive hotels in Europe, but nowhere was the service so poor as in this one.
