“I would definitely stay here again!”

Central Hotel 21 is a small family-owned hotel. The staff spoke English very well and were extremely helpful. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. It was just a short walk to both the subway and the tram line making getting around very easy. The room was not large, but plenty of room for my wife and I. If you are looking for simple, clean accommodations in a convenient location with friendly helpful, English-speaking staff I do not think you can do any better than Central Hotel 21.

“Quiet and Clean”

Great hotel in the center of the city, close to transport. It was also nice to have two convenient stores really close by. The staff members were helpful. The breakfast spread was nice but a bit pricey. A major downside was that the wireless internet was incredibly slow.

“Great little Budapest Hotel”

The entrance of hotel is a little weary as you have to ring to get in and hotel is on the second floor. However, staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is slightly out of center of Budapest, but was able to walk everywhere and felt safe returning to hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and computer available in lobby. Enjoyed my stay at hotel and would recommend and stay here again.

“Handy location”

We had a very comfortable stay here so near to the city centre, though a bit disappointed to find only soap, no shampoo or shower gel in the lovely modern bathroom. The room was a little dark but nicely decorated. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but this was available free in the lobby. We walked past the hotel on first arrival as it is not named clearly at street level. It is situated in a traditional city building, ie buzz for entry into outer lobby, rooms arranged round an open courtyard (hence the rather dark rooms). This makes it seem a bit hostel like, but it was a good comfortable stay for the money. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

“Very good”

The only negative aspect is the rooms have very thin walls so there was one occasion where we were woken up by our next door neighbours returning at 4.30am and then proceeded to listen to every word they said and footstep they took.

Hotel wasn't right in the centre but it wasn't that far to walk to shops and some attractions. The hotel staff were very friendly and informative and spoke excellent English. Rooms were a bit on the small size but adequate. One of our party had a single room and that was REALLY small.
