I really liked this hotel. The room was small but clean and comfortable. It's in a touristy area that's near restaurants, souvenir shops and public transit.

Met Excellent Check-in and out staffs. Excellent staffs in breakfast area. Poor options in breakfast meat, no chicken no vegan or vegetarian food. I found small bits of meat in the vegetable Salad. A resident complained to me of no Halal food at all in the breakfast. Fruit juices are all squash. My room was spacious and tidied daily very well with excellent shower but not sound proof. One hears other residents talking in other rooms and toilet flushes wake you up at night and disturb your day time. Embarrassed when a non professional receptionist expressed to me after one week how could I stay another weeks there, instead of welcoming passengers to stay longer. I stayed two weeks in Hotel President last year but had better experiences though a bit expensive. Recommendation: improve your breakfast choices and options. Put Professional receptionist

Πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο...Πολύ καθαρό!Είναι πάρα πολυ κεντρικο, δίπλα στην κλειστή αγορά και πολύ κοντά με τα πόδια στα πιο κεντρικά σημεία.Τα αρνητικά ήταν ότι μας έβαλαν στον πέμπτο όροφο που ήταν σοφίτα και η στέγη ήταν πολύ χαμηλά και σου προκαλούσε λίγη κλειστοφοβία και αν δεν προσεχες συνέχεια είχες κίνδυνο να χτυπήσεις.

Great but not excellent
I have a small problem that I can’t sleep with noises and this info was disclosed with the property before hand. The check in was great, friendly staff member and breakfast decent. The room I was given must have had a leak inside the walls and kept me awake all night, when I went to reception around 10pm the receptionist wasn’t helpful at all. Offered me another room but didn’t allow me to see if the new room had the same issue. The following morning I spoke with another receptionist who allowed me to swap the room upon checking the room first. This room did smell of damp but didn’t have the noise problem so I swapped. Those rooms supposed to have a courtyard view (no view at all as shown from the pics) Few positives is that I believe I was given the free upgrade as gold member and there was a bottle of wine waiting for me, breakfast was decent but I think the coffee machine needs looked at because when I selected “Italian cappuccino” only coffee came out. Negatives: their pumping system in the bathroom sounds it’s always on, no much of day light in the room, the road where the hotel is situated is plenty of empty restaurants which feel like touristy trap so had to walk a bit away for meals. I don’t feel it’s a 4* hotel but apart from that one bad apple the service is nice I would stay again!

Wonderful Stay!!
We had a wonderful stay during early December 2023. Our rate included a bottle of wine and were happy they give you a liter of water. The room had a mini fridge. It also had a wireless phone charger. Our room had 2 windows #407. Great location near Metro station. Connected from the main Train HBF station 4 stops (metro) to Alta Moda. Very very good breakfast to start off your day. Highly recommend.

Very quirky hotel. Staff lovely. Only problem was having to wait for a table for breakfast, cups not available for coffee . Need to get take times for breakfast so not everyone arriving together. Very good value for money. Would definately stay here again

Coming back in the future
Beautiful inside and well equipped for sole female traveler. The room is rather small but it has nice medium hard bed, great pillow, great location, nice bathroom and necessary toiletries, wardrobe and hangers, nice warm shower, fast wifi, coffee machine and a bottle of water. Parking is in next building. No ironing board but i dont need it. I will definitely come to stay here again for the value of money, high degree of cleanliness, fantastic location.

Good location but very small rooms
Hotel was well situated with easy access to all attractions and eating places. I really enjoyed this hotel but the rooms were very compact, and we were staying in a deluxe room. The shower was so small, I struggled to get in & out and couldn’t stand up straight to shower. The hotel was very clean with attentive staff and served up a lovely breakfast which varied daily. I would recommend this hotel.

Got off to a rocky start with the front desk, however it all turned out well, and the front desk employee even went out of his way for us. Lovely room. Bathroom was huge, however the shower was very tiny.

This boutique hotel was very stylish and cute. It’s small but way larger than a cruise-ship cabin. Breakfast was lovely. The location was OUTSTANDING….very close to the Market, restaurants and major shopping. The staff were very accommodating. Air conditioning was very good as it was 30 degrees when we were there. The bed was good. We stayed 7 nights and would definitely recommend.

I had to leave the hotel after the first night and the reason is that hotel didn't mention that there are construction works around it with drilling!!! Also, the hotel didn't answer until today to hotels.com about the refund. Before the booking they answered very quickly. The only good thing is the staff- the guy in the reception tried to find me another room but the noise of drilling I could hear from every room. What could he do? Absolutely disappointing.

Good but no guest laundry as listed
Good location, cozy room for solo traveler, good breakfast buffet. Booked because the Hotels.com entry indicated "laundry facilities" as did another nearby hotel. Checked into Alta Moda to find there was no laundry facilities. Desk staff just shrugged and smiled. Wonder if the other hotel really had guest washing machine. Don't like false listings.

Great choice for exploring Budapest
The hotel's location is great. While on a pedestrian street full with tourists it is surprisingly quiet. It is steps away from the Danube, tram stations, metro, a market. Plenty restaurant choices. The room is not very large, but of an adequate size for comfortable stay. he breakfast is very good. The staff is friendly and professional.

Good location. Easy to get around, and get to public transport if needed. Close to the Donau and the Viking longboats. Very nice breakfast!
