This is a charming but dated hotel which is what I expected. The staff is very friendly and Margaret Island is beautiful. Easy access to the rest of the city by the 26 bus or just walk the beautiful walkways.

Loved the spa and thermal pool although it was a bit crowded on weekends it was lovely during the week. The massages and facials and manicures were very well done. The salt cave was relaxing.over all we gave it 5 stars and would like to return again

This is a still amazing old era hotel, the contemporary decor is very well kept, everything in very good condition, my room was enormous, fantastic view, I loved it, except the air conditioning that was more like a fan, it's ok for cold months but certainly not for summer, I was told that a proper system will be installed this year. I gave five stars because as soon as a raised my query, a member of the management team gave me several options including a beautiful suit but having the same A/C issues so finally I was transferred to their sister hotel Thermal Margaret Island, the room was smaller but very modern and comfortable. Gellebert was very professional, efficient, friendly, he sorted out my problem in no time, he clearly loves his job and should be the first in line for a pay rise because he and the rest of the staff are fabulous. Thanks.

Fantastic 2 night stay
We had a fantastic 2 night stay here during the World Athletic Championships, sharing the hotel with a number of the competitors. The service was second to none with the communication and recommendations for places to eat and visit. Also accommodated a last minute booking for the spa which was wonderful.

The location is fantastic, the island is beautiful but you will need to get a taxi to get anywhere off the island. The rooms are nice and the facilities are good, however the air-conditioning is so old it's basically just a fan in your room. Breakfast was plentiful and had a great variety and the staff were great. Ide stay again but not in summer.

Amazing hotel on a beautiful island
This was an amazing hotel with a lot to see and explore on the island itself. The room itself was amazing. Some of the staff members were nice and some were not. Some of the cleaning people were extremely rude when telling them to come back at a later time due to me just getting out the shower. Overall the stay was great.

Spa and fitness are excellent. Room cleaning service need to be improved a lot. Corridor that leeds to the pool had blood spots for days etc. Refrigerator didn't work in room and took 2 days to get the problem solved. Staff at breakfast service is lethargic bored no smile..means something is missing.

Nice hotel but some staff were lacking manners
The stay was pleasant, hotel was nice but the some of the staff were quite rude when asking for information or assistance. The older staff were very good, professional and customer focused, but the younger staff were very blunt, to the point and definitely not customer focused or slightly helpful

V hotelu nefungují služby
Hotel na pěkném místě. V hotelu nefungovala restaurace na večeři, nefungoval bar. Na pokoji nebyly župany - hotel je neměl pro všechny hosty. Bazén a restaurace je ve vedlejším hotelu. Pokud chcete jít na večeři nebo si koupit něco k pití či k jídlu musíte jet autobusem do centra....
