“Wonderful Hotel--Be Prepared to Defend Your Reservation”

I have stayed here 3 times, and it is a wonderful hotel. We were there over New Year's Eve, and there were loud parties both downstairs and outside (including a stage). However, the sound proofing was good enough that it did not bother us. This hotel is a wonderful hotel, definitely a business class hotel that strives for perfection. Be aware, though, that if you have a rate that requires a deposit they are dead serious about no changes--including extentions. This particular night I booked was an extention to a reservation through the Hilton website when they would not extend my stay. The front desk had already figured out what I had done, and had made arrangements for us to stay in the same hotel room all 4 nights. However, be sure to print out your Expedia print out and be prepared to defend any "extras" that might be thrown in according to your voucher. They will not readily honor them.

“A very nice hotel in Budapest”

Hilton Budapest West End is located next to the train station. The location is quiet convenient. It took about 20-30 minutes walking to the tourist attractions. The hotel provided excellent breakfast buffet. We stayed there for two nights and really enjoyed.

“Budapest - Good location”

Location is next to Nyugati train station. Good comfortable beds. Subway is very close. I have stayed here before and will continue to go back. It is a very nice western style hotel. The hotel is connected to a large shopping mall that also has a large food court area.

“Room very easy on the eyes”

Are arrival in Budapest was like being in the opening of a mystery movie. It was dark and cold as we arrived the Budapest Keleti train station. The train stations in Budapest are a little more stark than most western Europe stations. The station was not as well lit as others. A sort of throw back to Soviet era. We were tired, it was cold and we had been traveling all day and the train was an hour late arriving due to weather. We love a good adventure exploring for places, but not tonight so we opted for a taxi. The taxi driver make quick work of our tirp and we arrived at the Hilton. The lobby was a clue to how we would like the hotel. We made it our room, opened the door and took in the room. We forgot how tired we were for a moment. The room was very nice. Just what we wanted. The nicest room we had on our trip(we were in Europe for about three weeks). It is nicely located in Budapest. Right by another train station(not the we came into). The train to the airport leaves from this station. It is also right by the underground station. The hotel is also connect to a major mall. If you didn't know you were in Budapest, you would think your in a U.S. mall. The breakfast is a typical Hilton spread which has always been very good in any Hilton I have been in. A very nice experience.
