Best view in Budapest

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: Location and view.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accomodating, helping us with directions, arranging taxi etc. The best part is the view overlooking the Danube and the parliament buildings. Make sure you get a Danube view - it is spectacular day and night. It is also in the middle of the Castle district so there is lots to see - St. Stephens etc - right outside the door.

Incredible view and great location in Buda.

Posted May 23, 2015
Cons: Wifi in the rooms was occasionally unreliable.
Location: Great for visiting the castle district. A little difficult to get to and from when visiting Pest. You have to learn which bus to take..
Stunning view of the Danube, if you get a Danube-view room. There are some great restaurants in the area, some of the best in town, but only a handful. The hotel is by the most iconic sites in Buda, i.e., the St Matias Church, and the Fisherman's Bastion.

Stunning view of the city

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Magnificent view of the Danube and the whole of Budapest. Very good access by bus or funicular to the Pest area. Staff largely helpful.
Cons: The breakfast was good, but an efficient toaster would be a real bonus! Coffee and tea not always served without asking.
Location: Wonderful church, Fisherman's bastion, Royal Palace, park with lunchtime music, many cafes, good restaurant opposite. Fascinating world heritage site
One of the most interesting cities we have visited.

Great location, not so great hotel

Posted May 7, 2015
Pros: Location, free Wifi.
Cons: The hotel Staff need to work as a team. Some offer a great customer experience, but in a hotel of this standing all staff should offer this.
The hotel is in a great location on Castle Hill with fantastic views across the River Danube. We found all the Staff on Reception very good and very helpful at all times. The free WifFi was brilliant. We were disappointed with the rest of the hotel. The meal in the Icon restaurant was ok, but we expected better than this. We had a double room, yet toiletries were provided for one and there was only one dressing gown. It just didn't seem like a 5 star hotel.

予約タクシー料金はどうなってるの?

Posted May 7, 2015
Pros:

Hilton Hotel, Budapest Castle, Hungary.

Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: The check-in staff were super friendly and gave us tips on what to do, the best spa to visit and where to eat.
Cons: Our only tiny gripe was that the bed was slightly hard for our taste which is why we gave a 4/5 for room comfort.
Location: As it's on the top of the hill be prepared for a lot of walking or buy bus tickets for about 75p ea (book of 10) or a travel pass to get into the city
This is a lovely hotel in one of the best locations in Budpest being right next to the Castle on top of the hill. The views over the rest of Buda, the Danube and the Pest side of the city are truly fantastic. In the evening, it is a quieter part of the city as most of the tourists have gone back down to Pest but the lit up views are spectacular. The Hilton itself was lovely but was unfortunately still under renovation in the lobby area hence the 4/5 for hotel facilities/condition but we were given a free welcome bottle of water in our room and free Wifi access for the duration of our stay for the inconvenience. My wife has an allergy to feathers so we asked at the check-in desk for hollow fiber pillows and duvets which were brought within a few minutes of getting into the room. All in all a lovely place to go and would strongly recommend as a city break holiday destination.

Great location in Budapest

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: Location! It's inside the castle area. Great for American's who like big rooms, big beds, and a less foreign experience.
Location: St Stephens cathedral and the castle.
I picked this hotel based upon location primarily. This hotel is like a newer Hilton in the USA. I mean that as a compliment. After many tiny hotel rooms with weak showers and small single beds pushed together to form a queen sized bed this Hilton was a refreshing upgarde with it's big comfy beds and large rooms. Staff were excellent, near 5 star attention to detail and professionalism. Much better than the average Hilton in the USA.

Perfect location with superb views over the Danube

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: There just is not a better located hotel in Budapest. Staff are extremely helpful and polite, and immaculately turned out. Location is unbeatable!
Location: All of the Castle district is easily accessed, with Fishermens Wharf literally on the doorstep. Easy access to Pest and Gellert via regular buses
We booked the Hilton Buda for a short break and were not disappointed. We were aware that major renovations were going on before we booked, but other than the fact that some parts were partitioned off there was no disturbance whatsoever, and of course it meant we were able to book the room at an amazing price. I had been to Budapest many times previously, but this was my first return in over 20 years and it did not disappoint. Buda is a magical city and we saw no litter, no graffiti and no anti-social behaviour - just a perfectly safe and totally magical location. It was very helpful to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room, although you need to be aware that hotel supplied bottled water is very expensive (1700 HF vs 85 HF at the supermarket), but that is to be expected at a 5* hotel.

호텔의 위치는 정말 좋았습니다. 바로 옆이 어부의 요새와 마샤슈 성당이었습니다. 다만 호텔의 로비가 리노베이션중이라서 객실을 찾아갈 때 좀 복잡했습니다.

Very good hotel!

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Location Comfort
Location: 15 min to castle 30 min. to the parliament 15 min. to the metro and tram stations
When we arrived there was a construction and for that they gave us free access for the internet in our room and free drinks in the lobby bar. The construction did not bother us, I heard the noise only one time. We stayed two night. our price didn't inc. the breakfast so I cannot make comment about that. The location is great if you want to stay in Buda side. It is on the Fisherman Bastion and opposite the Matthias Church. 3 min. away from Dracula's Sanctuary. I recommend you to wake up early in the morning and watch the sunrise from the Fisherman Bastion.
