The property is located in a good area for transport and airport bus. There are extensive roadworks going on around the whole property and this would make it inaccessible for any disabled. Staff were efficient, but not particularly friendly. Breakfast area not cheery, and food was a little disappointing with cold scrambled eggs, and generally a lack of choice. Room was well equipped, but very overlooked from apartments opposite. Good choice of restaurants around with some beautiful streets near by. Hopefully standards will improve, but generally not a hotel I am likely to return to.

Construction works on both street sides are extensive, dangerous and badly marked by the company carrying out the work, and no signage assistance from the hotel. On the last day of our stay, someone had placed a pallet between pavement and deep road excavations. Health and safety considerations appear to be non existent. On the basis this is improving the area and will eventually be completed, I will be happy to recommend the hotel to friends and family. In the meantime, works are likely to continue for, probably 4 weeks from until mid or end of April 2024.

At the time of our visit, roadworks were taking place all around the hotel making access less than perfect. (Once finished, the square in which the hotel sits will be very pretty). The staff were very friendly and helpful but, despite the grand entrance, the hotel lacks communal seating areas and other amenities. There are, however, plenty of good restaurants within easy reach. The express bus to the airport is, also, only a short walk away.

Beautiful hotel, great service, perfect temperature and comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. The only negative is the decor, such a beautiful and historical building should have been kept in keeping and traditional not made modern.

Hi the hotel itself was lovely but unfortunately during my stay the road at the entrance was all dug up and there was no safety measures put in to allow u to leave or enter the hotel. U had to walk through dirt and rubble which wasn't ideal .

The hotel is in a great location with just a short walk to the centre of Budapest. Staff were extremely helpful. It was very clean and chic. Will definitely return to this hotel when I’m next in Budapest.

A great hotel in a very nice area of Budapest. A few charming little restaurants within walking distance and close to public transport routes. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. My only complaint is the beds are a little hard, but that’s just my opinion. I would recommend!

A lovely hotel. Perhaps not in the absolute most central part of the general tourist experience, but a nice part of the VIII district and conveniently located in any case. Facilities are great and the staff in general are very nice. Housekeeping was outstanding.

Very nice hotel. Decent size roo.. bed was very comffortable. Room cleaning was good (4 day stay). Located 1 block from the tram and bus stops, 3.blocks from the subway. Very easy to get around. Very happy with our stay.. And Budapest is awesome. Most beautiful city we have visited We will return.

Our stay was excellent. The hotel is very classy and appealing. The staff were extremely friendly, particularly the receptionist Joaquin who provided us with restaurant recommendations and the cleaning staff who on multiple occasions delivered items to our door (toothbrushes, razors etc). The hotel is also situated in a great location with walking distance to many popular tourism spot.

I loved staying at Palazzo Zichy and would recommend it very highly. The hotel is a former palace and is very convenient for sight-seeing. I stayed in a Junior Suite and found it perfect. It was most comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed. The staff are very helpful and polite, and all those I met had excellent English skills. Breakfast was superb, with a selection to please anybody. There are plenty of place to eat in the surrounding streets and all budgets are catered for.

The property was great with lots of nice bars and restaurants a stones throw away. The only criticism we had was the taxi back to the airport. We asked reception to order us one. When it arrived it wasn't the main yellow taxis that we had been using. It was an old car with no sign of it being an actual taxi. Inside the car the seatbelts didn't work, so my husband sat in the middle on the back seat had no seat belt. The driver used his phone while driving and we felt like we were going to rearend many a car. It was terrifying. It was a shame such a great holiday had to end like that.

Good location and room/Average breakfast
The location of this hotel was great. It was within walking distance to transportation and dining. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved that the room had a working air conditioner. It was quiet from outside noise, but we could hear noisy hotel guests in the hallway early in the morning. The breakfast was average. There were deli meats, cheese, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, and cereal. The yogurt was in a cup rather than freshly prepared. I was disappointed that the coffee machine had no decaf cappuccino options but it is not the only hotel that doesn't have that option. The food reminded me of a 3 star breakfast from the states. Based on reviews, I had higher expectations. On the hotel website, it mentions that they have a shuttle. However, they do not and are willing to call you a taxi. Overall a good stay, but would have opted to not have breakfast there.

Quite Hotel
We stayed recently in this hotel for 6 nights. Even though property is recently refurbished, wall papers in corridors and room are black which gives you a negative feeling. Front desk is very helpful. However, when coffee machine in the room required service - it took 3 reminders and over 24 hours for them to attend as the property is not having inhouse Electrician, Property is in a leafy quite neighborhood with lot of restaurants and groceries nearby but away from tourist attractions.

The hotel was very sophisticated. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had forgotten some clothes in our room and were going on a river cruise. They had the clothes delivered to our ship that was docked in Budapest.
