Staying in the attic!Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: See above! They invited their guests to a Happy Hour each afternoon which is very nice, but we didn't take part due to time and fatique!
Cons: Lighting in our room was very poor for reading purposes
Location: Good local restaurants and bars, close to public transit to get to sightseeing venues. Liked the neighbourhood because it was a local community.
Our room was on the top floor- 25x25 feet in floor area. It had a wall of windows overlooking gardens and trees and had a very spacious bathroom as well. Breakfast was delicious and breakfast room very pleasant. Staff very helpful with all our questions. Location was a short walk from the subway and even had a shoemaker along the route! Close to the Danube and tram service to sightseeing along the river. Baths in the City Park were spectacular; good people watching and many baths and temperatures to choose from. Beautiful setting. Hungarian National Gallery and its setting overlooking the Danube was breath-taking. Fisherman's Bastion was good for its view of the city as well. Shoe memorial is very moving, although had difficulty finding it. It is near the parliament buildings.

Great locationPosted Aug 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was clean and in an easy to get to location for much of the city. The rooms were of a decent size. I think the only weaknesses were the quality of the wifi and that the shower/ bath didn't have a floor which had a good grip. The staff were very helpful, particularly the people at main desk.

The hotel's staff were extremely helpfull , giving a lot of precious informations regarding tourism in Budapest . Also even I was checking out at 12 they agreed to let me leave my car in their parking , and so I was able to visit Budapest a couple more hours by foot

Great hotel, loved the breakfast and good locationPosted Aug 19, 2014
Staff are really nice. The room was very nice and clean. It's located in a quiet area, and it takes about 10 - 15 minutes to get to the center, which is great because I don't like to stay in the center because it can get noisy. Loved having breakfast in the backyard, there are options for everyone: cereal, yogurt, bread, different kind of cheese, jams, ham, sausages, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice small hotel in a quiet areaPosted Jul 26, 2014
Situated within a 5min walk of the tram no.2 route (reached by subway under main road & tram intersection) - tram 2 takes you to Vigado Terrace, from where it's a short walk to Erszebet (Elizabeth) Terrace to the start of the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus tours. I would recommend the green bus 48-hour ticket which can be paid for at the hotel & starts the timing from the first time you use the bus. Also consider booking the 4-hour 'Ideal City Tour' from the hotel which is excellent value Eat at the Market Hall (upstairs) at least once! Buda side of the Danube (castle district, Citadel, St Stephens church, Funicular railway etc) is breathtakingly lovely. Would recommend this hotel - reception staff are most helpful & speak good English
