“Great Hotel - Location, View, Service all exceeded expectations”

This was the best hotel of our two week vacation. Sorry that we were only able to stay for two nights. The view from the room was great. The dinner recommendations were excellent. Parking was not an issue. Many spaces right in front of the hotel for free. We did a lot of walking and the location made it very easy.

“Amazing view!”

Very friendly staff at this hotel, willing to help with directions, taxis, etc. Breakfast was nice - a good selection, plus they'll make you omelettes, etc, if you ask. However, the best thing about the hotel is the location and the views. Ten minutes walk from the castle and chain bridge, with decent restaurants near by. And the view is stunning! All the 4* rooms face the river, giving amzing views of the Parliament, bridges, etc.

“Wow, what a view!”

Room was lovely, spacious and had a view to die for, although it wasn't required all that much because we didn't go to sit in a hotel room. Staff were very friendly and polite. Breakfast was also very nice.

“Hotel Victoria - Fantastic”

Booked this hotel from a recommendation of a Hungarian work colleague, we turned up at 11.30pm, the staff were very helpful, very efficient and polite. The rooms were very clean, well presented and the decor was perfect. As for the view I looked out over the beautiful Danube with views of Parliament. Cannot fault anything. Excellent

“Fabulous hotel, incredible view, we will be back”

First impressions are so important and Gabby was the right person on reception in this hotel. She is extremely helpful, friendly and full of information. We could not believe it when we walked into our room on the 7th floor. Picture windows, just about floor to ceiling, looking out over the Danube to the beautiful Parliament Building and the Chain Bridge. There are 2 chairs and a coffee table placed so you can just sit and admire the view. We left our curtains open on our first and last nights so we could admire the view. The hotel is boutique - only 27 rooms and all with this incredible view. We were next to the lift and never heard it in the 6 nights we were there. Originally we had only booked in for 4 nights but the hotel and view changed our minds and we increased it to 6. Gabby followed this up for us and we were able to keep the same room. Breakfast was very good, cold food was laid out and you ordered hot food from a menu board. I have to say that if the lady who waited on us in the breakfast room for the first 4 days had not been there then we would not have rated the service as high as we did as the man on our last 2 mornings was not up to standard We were made very welcome here and hope we can make it back.

“Fabulous views”

An excellent small, economically priced hotel. All rooms have a fabulous view out over the Danube. The rooms are large and comfortable although the bathrooms are a little dated and could do with upgrading. A good, cooked breakfast is included in the price. Reception staff are extremely friendly. There is a tram stop outside the door and the metro is a 5 minute walk away. The famous Chain Bridge is also 5 minutes away.
