Quiet and pretty apartment

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Although its location is far from the center of Budapest, the hotel was pretty full in this kind of season. I think this can tell the hotel is nice and reasonable.

Good price

Hotel is OK, has it's own garage but be aware it's on top of the hill so you'll probably need to use your car or public transport (bus station relatively near).

Quite Location in the Hills of Buda

We enjoyed our stay & would recommend it for a couple, who want a quite, nice hotel with great views of the city. It's located about 15/20 minutes by Public transport from the centre. You can get a No 29 bus to Kolosi Square, & change to a No. 206 which will bring you to the centre of Budapest for Shopping, bars, etc.. I'd recommend buying a pass which works out at 3100 Fl 7 gives unlimited travel on Buses, Trams & Metro for up to 5 people per day. The room could do with more furniture, as it's very spartan, but there are lovely terraces to most rooms. They could do with improving faciliities, as there are no hair-driers or Tea/Coffe making faciliities. Breakfast was very basic but at the price they charge was good value. There is a nice Italian pizzeria about 200 mtrs from the Hotel, & it's very modern, clean & in-expensive.

It was a bit inconvenient that there is no elevator and usually no hotel employee to carry the luggage up or down the stairs (from the street level there could be as many as four floors). Hotel staff was very friendly.

Overall a good stay.

Pros: Breakfast was a treat
Cons: Tired and a little run down
Location: Great if you have a car, just 10 mins into central Budapest but if you don't this could prove a problem, you are at the top of a VERY BIG HILL!
Lovely hotel but the up keep is on a down turn. If they start now to replace missing bulbs, worn carpets and rotten wood work it will soon be restored to a beautiful hotel. But right now it's looking a bit tired and sad. All staff were lovely and very happy to help with any requirements and breakfast was a treat. Some guests were noisy on the stairs but what can you do about them?!?!? Please note that there is NO LIFT and there are upto 4 floors.

Good value for money

Very friendly staff, service is in line with the 3 star rating. You have to walk a little to get public transportation as the villa is situated in the green 2nd district. I think pretty good value for money.
