Cons: breakfast gets boring after a few days (i stayed 5 nights). room overall clean. although i had to ask that the floor be dusted more thoroughly.
perfect location if you want to stay in a quieter area with easy access to most places. plenty of restaurants around. walking distance to the parliament, the riverside, vaci street, market, chain bridge, etc. i walked everywhere. great city to walk around in. friendly staff. nice big rooms.

Excellent HotelPosted Sep 17, 2013
We had a recent short stay at the Iberostar Grand and had a wonderful few days. The staff are excellent, the décor bright and modern and the rooms luxurious. The hotel is at a great location, near both the retail/commercial centre, the river and lots of restaurants. Can't recommend it enough.

Fabulous!Posted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: Pure luxury
Cons: Excellent breakfast but if I had to find a fault I would say that sometimes the staff were a little slow replenishing the buffet items.
Location: Quiet high end location. Close to restaurants and bars. Within a few minutes walking distance of the awesome parliament, river and chain bridge.
On first impression the decor is a bit blingy. Do not let this put you off as this is a wonderful luxury hotel. Huge comfortable bed and high quality bathroom with robes and slippers.Excellent quiet position within walking distance of all the main attractions.

Budapest extended stay after Danube River CruisePosted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: Décor, location & service.
Location: Parliament bldgs; St. Stephen's Cathedral; outdoor vendor market; wonderful Italian food restaurant 1 block away; lots of cafes & restaurants in area.
Ran search on 4* hotels in Budapest & this one came up w/good ratings, so decided to try it out. What a clean, funky hotel. Large, king room w/red, white & black décor. Bathroom is great w/separate large walk-in shower & separate enclosed room for toilet. Check-in desk staff very friendly. We really enjoyed the location in quieter area surrounded by the various embassies, yet only 5-min walk from the action. Beautiful square w/park & lovely, fun fountain right across the street. Nightly stay is pricey, but feel it was worth it. Would definitely recommend it for those looking for something other than a budget hotel.

Great location but service needs to be upgradedPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel has great location and relatively new. It has a "cheesy" feeling to it. Fancy but not classic decor. Staff are friendly but really not helpful yet, especially for tourist -- they are not familiar with attractions nearby and once sold tickets but couldn't find them to give to us. Maybe it tailors different type of customers. But if they are interested in appealing to customers like us, they do need to train their employees more on finding local attractions and helping customers get to where they want to be. One concierge boy is good but that is all.

Brand newPosted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Quiet. Very close to centre. Facilities and spa. Room size! Room comfort!
Cons: They should mention that the breakfast buffet DOES NOT include any warm food. Eggs, omelettes etc.
Nice stay in a brand new hotel. Very nice overall experience.

The location was fantastic. When I booked the hotel on Hotel.com, it said the room has a king and 2 single beds and suitable for 4 adults, but arriving at the hotel it only had 2 single beds. We were 3 and we stayed there 3 nights. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and they accommodate us and changed our room for the next 2 night free of extra charge. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is located in a perfect spot for sightseeing in the city. The hotel is very clean. The decor of the room we stayed in was a bit over the top but for a short stay it was fun. We enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar Grand Hotel
