Great hotel in the middle of everythingPosted Aug 30, 2014
The hotel facilities and location is amazing. The beds are so comfortable and finally a hotel with some decent pillows in Europe! I ranked the staff lower because they were friendly but completely unknowledgeable. It took me three times to finally get someone to explain to me how to make a local call and when I asked for a good breakfast place they didn't know... somehow I felt bad for them cause you can tell they want to help but they need more basic training.

Vacation in BudapestPosted Aug 19, 2014
This hotel is simply amazing. Modern, very well decorated, very large rooms ( I got an upgrade when I checked in), wonderful services. The breakfast is just great. The SPA worths the visit after a long day visiting the city.

Top quality hotel in a vibrant part of BudapestPosted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Excellent location, fantastic room, working A/C, top quality staff.
Cons: Streamline the WiFi connection via the portal.
Location: Right on Victory Square. Tons of amazing restaurants nearby. Close to the metro. I recommend the Prime Steak Restaurant.
Booked the hotel on the basis that I knew it was going to be hot and humid in Budapest, and I wanted working air conditioning. It worked perfectly :-) Probably the nicest hotel room I have stayed in. Superb bathroom, and spacious bed and lounge area. My room was on the square, but the double glazing meant there was no noise. Staff were superb - very friendly and courteous. The WiFi portal was a bit annoying - requiring frequent manual reconnection if you went out of range and back.

Not bad but below expectationsPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Staff is nice and rooms are spacious. Nice washroom.
Location: 10 to 15 minute walk from everything. Next time I will rent a room in a hotel closer to the Chain Bridge.
Location is not The Best and the hôtel is rather average. Breakfast is too expensive and the AC is very weak.

Great locationPosted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: It was in a quiet / central location which is a must when you have been walking all day. The beds were too die for The staff were very helpful
Cons: A blind on the glass partition between the bedroom and bathroom would be helpful during the night. The Wi Fi seemed difficult to activate
Location: Plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity Walking across the Chain Bridge to the Castle district and the North Buda
Budapest is a lovely city to visit and the people are very friendly i.e. we could not easily work the overhead train validation machine and a passenger who could speak no English was really helpful in showing us what to do. This saved us getting a fine from the ticket inspector! A must is afternoon tea in the Four Seasons Hotel. The food and service were exemplary and an added bonus was the pianist. Also, visit the Opera. If you want an excursion along the Danube then a visit to Szentendre will not disappoint. If you have time do visit the House of Terror (Terrorhaza) which depicts the soviet occupation of Hungary.
