Beautiful hotel and great location

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: Really great location, helpful staff and the most comfortable bed I have slept in for a long time. Great bathroom with separate rooms for shower and
Cons: Like many European hotels you only get news channels/cartoons in English - one normal channel such as BBC1 would be a great plus
Location: Situated in the inner old town of Pest it was ideal for exploring n foot and tourist buses. Plent of local bars and restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay in the Grand - a friendly reception on arrival (including sparkling wine) set the tone for a great stay. Spacious superior double that was beautifully clean and decorated.

Friendly, clean and Comfortable, at a good price

Posted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Wonderful fragrance in common areas.
Cons: Better breakfast in restaurant at more reasonable prices.
Location: It's central and within walking distance to many thing in Pest including the Opera House, shopping, restaurants, sightseeing bus stops and the Danube.
I will definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly, the room was modern, spacious and comfortable ... and clean. When you enter the hotel, you're greeted by the doorman/valet staff. An aroma fills the lobby that makes you think you're in a spa. It's very relaxing. I could have stayed in the lobby the entire visit. The receptionist said it is pumped through the ventilation. We checked in and went to our room. A knock came at the door and it was the doorman with wine spritzers. There was treats for us to eat in the room already. The staff also booked restaurants reservations for us. The only thing I don't recommend is dining in the restaurant downstairs. We had breakfast there and it was far too expensive for the quality and amount of food you get. One of my top reasons for travel is new dining experiences. For local cuisine for dinner, I'd recommend R├ęzkakas Bistro which is a quick walk from the hotel. And definitely try Gerbeaud for breakfast. The croissants are heavenly.

Can't beat the location or rooms

Posted Feb 14, 2014
Pros: Rooms, bathroom decor and bathtub, location
Cons: Didn't love the design of the lobby
Location: Go to Borkonykha WineKitchen for dinner. Amazing.
The lobby is a bit over-the-top modern, but we loved the hip location of this hotel and the spotless rooms with beautiful bathrooms. Budapest was a lot of fun!

Great location for modern hotel

Posted Jan 10, 2014
Pros: Bath room and inside decoration
Location: Close to everything in the Pest center
Different kind of hotel compared of the hotels in the same area. Modern, good design, practical rooms and vast size. The location is few minuted walking from the heart of Pest city center.
