Very friendly staff. Best service I've receivedPosted Oct 18, 2013
Friendly staff that went out of their way to help. Best service I've received worldwide. Note there is no daily room service.

Good hotel, well locatedPosted Oct 2, 2013
Location: Close to grand boulevard, so good transport links. Able to get to all main parts Budapest.
Great to have an apartment to spread out in and proper sofas. Staff most helpful I have ever encountered.

Great aparthotel for families and dog owners.Posted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: Location, room, and especially the friendly staff.
Cons: Just the 2 broken items.
Location: City centre is within walking distance in one direction (about 3-400m to the start of it) and so is the city park (800m in the other direction).
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The location is between the city centre and the city park with great baths, which was perfect for us. The lobby and breakfast room looked very nice as well, although we didn't make much use of it. The room had a sofa, kitchen, table and a bedroom and bathroom with shower and bathtub (more than enough space for 2 adults, a baby and a dog). Check-out is at noon (enough time to return for a shower when participating in the half-marathon) but the car can be left in the garage for the remainder of the day, which is very practical. They also have free wifi in the room. The only (minor) negative points were a broken lamp in the bedroom and a broken shower door.

Escape from the tourist hordesPosted Aug 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Residence Izabella felt like sanctuary when we escaped our rip-off taxi ride from the unpleasant 40C building site that is currently the main railway station. The calm of Izabella and the helpful staff were just what we needed! The hotel is well situated midway between the tourist bustle of the city centre and the glorious Szenchenyi baths on the glorious M-1 tube line which must boast some of the most attractive stations anywhere. The little shop just along the street is ramshackle but serves perfectly good wine at £1.60 a bottle ...

Good apartment for a family of 4.Posted Aug 14, 2013
Friendly welcome, someone took effort to hand write a welcome note for us. Great location near to tram and underground - but quiet. Shop nearby and eco café with good coffee. Large rooms. Good kitchen. Able to print boarding passes by e-mailing to reception. Free and easy to set-up Wi-Fi. Lovely bedroom for adults with direct access to bathroom. Front room had loads of room, even with 2 camp-beds fitted for children. We would love to return. This was more like an apartment than a standard hotel. Toys in reception near to outdoor area. Lovely atmosphere. Nicest stay I have had in a good while - great city.

Wonderful hotel just steps from the MetroPosted Jul 26, 2013
Loved it. This hotel offers very clean well appointed rooms with kind helpful English speaking staff. We are a family of five and we fit comfortably in a suite with two bedrooms containing king size beds with a twin bed in the shared living area. We were able to purchase tickets to the metro and for a cruise on the Danube at the front desk with no additional charge for the service. The metro entrance at the Vorosmarty utca entrance is within 100 meters of the hotel's front door. From there it was possible to get almost anywhere we wanted to go in the city within 20 minutes - often much quicker due to the efficiency of the (also very clean and safe) metro. They have a great Saeco automatic coffee / espresso / cappuccino machine in the hotel dining area that is available for complimentary use 24 hours a day. The breakfast offering was nice but a bit expensive so we opted to dine elsewhere

Convenient and comfortablePosted Jul 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
My family (2 adults, 2 teenage children) spent a weekend at the Mamaison Residence Izabella Budapest, and we were very pleased. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, spoke perfect English, and most willing to help with taxi arrangements, restaurant recommendations, etc. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the Octogon, Hero's Square and many restaurants, stores, etc. We toured the city on one of the hop on/hop off tour buses, and it was an easy walk from the hotel to one of the stops. We didn't eat the hotel breakfast (we don't generally eat large breakfasts), but we did see it and it looked like a nice variety of well-prepared food. The hotel is very quiet, and we found the beds to be comfortable. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

Excellent centre for exploring BudapestPosted May 16, 2013
Charming but modernised apartment hotel; we had a well appointed comfortable suite with a bedroom and a huge lounge/kitchen/diner. Good breakfast buffet spoiled by watered down fruit juice. Arrive early to make sure of secure convenient private parking. Excellent location, 1 minute from the metro which is free for Seniors, and pretty cheap for everyone else.

A quiet place to settle in Budapest for a few daysPosted Feb 4, 2013
Cons: Gym is also offered to non guests. Was fairly busy went I went.
Good location if you are staying for a few days. Near nice museums, baths, and 100 m. from the metro line.
